Just put my game back on and everything looked kinda odd, and then I realised that somebody had completely stripped my island of fruit (I leave it here because it’s colourful). I’m not at all upset about it (it’ll grow back), just thought it was weird 8)

My girls were left alone on your island earlier for a short while but for once, they're not guilty.

They're scared of the bee's.

Aw, haha, I’d not have minded a bit if they’d filled their pockets with fruit!! In fact, that would have been the happiest thing to have happened.

Someone kept doing that to mine & also started picking the flowers (without asking if it was ok) so I had to remove them at that point :S I might be a tad protective over my island...

Gate is open for the morning. My internet did dip earlier but hopefully that was a one-off.

https://twitter.com/underlogic_sw/statu ... 8938974210

- Saharah is on the island today
- Somehow ended up with my first black tulip. If anyone sees a hybrid on my island that they don't have, feel free to dig it up and take it.. I'm not precious about the flowers.. :)
- Tidied up the fossils a bit and added some other bits too.

I noticed that actually they hadn’t taken all the fruit, as they’d left my native peaches, so I assume they’d taken them straight to my shop to sell as they’d taken so much (like, every single coconut, cherry, orange, pear and apple) that it couldn’t have been just to give themselves fruit to grow on their own island. It’s good that the game limits it to stuff that will grow back, though ^_^

Anyway, in more colourful news my flower beds are bursting with hybrids. I think 18 in total. No green mums but one of those will hopefully come in time.

Thanks everyone for the fab watering efforts! It was so beautiful to see the super sparkles. Turnips back down to 176 today.

Yesterday was very much a fishing day with CJ on the island. God knows how many I caught in all, but I must have gone through 8-10 rods easily. In the early evening, I caught nothing unusual at all, but around midnight or so, I caught a couple of oarfish, a mahi-mahi, a travelly and then right at the end, my barreleye fish. Paid off my current loan and stashed a couple of hundred thousand in bells, so that helped make up for not having any turnips to sell at Mimi's place :)

I caught my little nephew digging up a flower of mine and told him off - not without asking dude!
yesterday I watered your nursery and then I followed the path and watered everything I could find, hope you have some accidental hybrids all over the place
I had no turnips so then I left and you were standing at the airport counter and it took me waaaay to long to realise you were not actually playing at the time ...

Thank you both :luv:

I was surprised because I thought the hybrids came about by mixing and matching the colours - this one just appeared by a couple of reds.

for some reason red + red makes black and white + white makes blue

@romanista I love the diner! I just got a red/white diner sofa to go with the chairs, would you still like that?

Oh! Hahaha, sorry! Yeah, I think I opened the gate and forgot to move! I did have some hybrids about the island, yes! Including a blue hyacinth, which I thought was especially lovely. Oh, and a black or purple rose (I can’t quite tell as it’s in bud stage).

I popped to DM’s this morning, swapped a couple of recipes over (none that were on your list, Dimrill) and did a bit of fishing.

Went to a Nook Mikes island yesterday and found a new resident to live on Sheppey: Filbert, who’s been a resident of mine on a couple of previous games :D

2 more recipes dropped off at DM's. Plus the blue goat behind the museum is building a cardboard chair if anyone needs that recipe.

Hola, does anybody happen to have the Iron Garden Chair recipe that they might be able to craft me a couple of? (...and maybe an iron garden bench) :)

Huh, that’s odd. I just looked up the iron chair in the guide (to make sure it was a thing that exists) and it says that I should have got it for doing the ‘three new plots’ quest at the beginning of the game, but I never did. Edit: ohhh... to craft the furniture for the new incoming villagers? None of mine asked for that, though, so does that mean I can never get it, I wonder?

I don't have that recipe but have crafted a couple of benches which I'll leave by the airport when I open the gate shortly :)

I spend so much time focusing on the sea fish that I neglect to fish elsewhere, assuming there's nothing left that's interesting to catch, but then I caught a golden trout for the first time yesterday.

You would have had to provide the furniture (for both inside and outside) before the first few houses would have been built, but Izzy and Gaz both got different sets they had to craft so I don't think the guide is necessarily accurate?? That aside, I can craft chairs and benches etc if you still need some.

Last night I went and chatted with Isabelle, as I haven’t in ages, and she told me I had a 5 star island, which I wasn’t expecting at all as my island seems kind of basic and empty compared to all yours. She gave me a recipe for a gold watering can, too, so that made watering flowers a tad quicker.

This morning I got an S rank from HHA, but my trophy was silver, so I’m not sure how that works, but I’m happy as I didn’t want to miss out on the silver trophy.

And I still haven’t bred a green mum, but I did find a gold rose nestled i. My flower beds today.

Did you already maybe already have the trophy for that rank?

Russell looked it up for me, and apparently thoigh im at S rank, I need more points within S rank to get the gold. Apparently if you are at stage 8 house development (have a basement) you need 90,000 points to score an S rating. So, I have something like 125,000 points. You get a silver trophy at 100,000 and a gold at 150,000, so if you had over 100,000 last week and hit silver, but less than 150,000 this week, you’d miss a trophy week, maybe?

Edit, OR, if you hit S rank this week but have between 90,000 and 100,000 points it would mean you are at S rank but at bronze trophy bonus stage.

Successful morning already with catching two new fish (rainbowfish and betta). Also, I figured I'd have a nose at what fossils I needed and one was the brachio pelvis which someone had already left on my island, so thank you to whoever that was. :)

Turnips are 98 bells but although you can sell on other islands, can you also buy?

Yes, you can. Gaz's Sunday turnip price is normally better than mine so I have been buying 'abroad'. Case in point, mine are 110 this morning :S

You should put your fossil list in the Classifieds Devilman :)
though after I send 2 fossils to the Vision I put spare fossils in you trading post anyway, maybe offer all of the trading post fossils to Blathers occasionally :)
