@Kern, I've sent you all the things I had in storage that your art wing was missing according to your dream :)
I've also sent a couple of fakes, I will keep an eye out for more fakes and for your last missing items!
thank you for the pie! It's so cute I put it in the museum cafe next to the carrot cake

Thanks Miki! I'll give them to Blathers and find a way to pass on the favour to another island sometime.

Hope you enjoyed the dream and found both the four zones and my favourite visual joke.

I really enjoyed the dream, but I didn't find all 4 zones
It's surprisingly hard to enter an island you don't know with only the map
I hope you'll give me a proper tour at some point
I loved your music area with the music notes floor and your outdoor library and I def found the medieval bit
I'm also not well versed in crystal maze because I've only seen a few episodes when visiting the inlaws in the uk, so that probably didn't help me

With the majority part due to @Miki, my art wing of the museum is now complete. Thank you so much, Miki, for being such a kind patron to Sheppey’s art gallery. I have also just caught the final sea creature, and my museum is now 100% complete. It was the best use of a year that ever there was. Thank goodness for AC during these past twelve months.

Darwin went back to school today and I need the game.

You're entirely welcome Mimi :luv: and congratulations on finishing the museum!
I'm crossing my fingers for a nice big secret update on the 18th to keep us company in the coming times
hugs!

Why the 18th, would you say? It would be nice, a year on from release. Im sure you mentioned the reason for an 18th update before, but I can’t remember why now.

In the little trailer about the Sanrio Amiibo's it said "available in the game after the update of March 18th" it's the only mention of an update, so the rest is just wishful thinking, but it is pretty much the 1 year anniversary :)

Some news about thursdays update 1.9.0 , nothing really spectacular but some nice additions
there is still chatter about a 2.0 update, but nobody knows - I read somewhere that april 14th will be the 20th anniversary of Animal Crossing

I cannot say just how happy o am to have double the design slots now. At LAST.

The Sanrio items look super duper cute. I love Kero kero Keroppi and had loads of keroppi things when I was younger. Gah! Had a look online but the cards are out of stock.

To echo Miki, my NFC chips arrived yesterday, and we wrote the Amiibo to them, so if anyone wants anything ordering, just holler. Or, if anyone wants any writing and doesn’t have the means to do so themselves, the tags are about £5 for 10, and don’t take too long so just DM me. I think Russell has most, if not all, available villagers.

Smashing. I haven’t invited anyone to live (yet) but am thinking of inviting a few folks, as I’ve had squirrel island for ages now.

The KeroKeroKeroppi bridge is so cute. And the snack!!

Katie is loving them all except Rilla, but she does not want to say goodbye to current villagers :D
I might talk her into Toby indeed, because of the cute house, etoile is darling but we already have Judy and that would be a double dose of cotton candy :DD

Eggs have arrived again, and with them a few (5) new items available to buy from Nooks, unlike previous seasonal items they can be re-ordered from the nook shopping app, which is nice
the items are very cute

only a few days until cherry blossom season!

Nook Link app on you phone has been updated and you can now collect coins to be redeemed for items

I went on earlier today and had a nose around, and bought the eggy tree in Nooks (annoyingly I either kept getting the same objects in Nooks, or missed a couple of days as I only ended up with three of the new items) and had a general potter about, but didn’t speak to Zipper.

I bought the tree as well, and did talk a bit with zipper, but he said I was already done, and gave me an eggwand..

@Jem, you're so welcome and I'm really glad you got into the game today :) if I've done my lists correctly your art wing should be finished
@Mimi, you are also so welcome! it's so nice that for once these seasonal items can be re-ordered!

I'll have to double check in a bit :) One of the paintings I have is a fake (not sure if it's one you sent or one that I picked up myself) and I think I have a couple of duplicates in my inventory to send back for redistribution too :)

I've been "cheating" a little bit and set the switch date for a few weeks after my last play, then a week on top - am now up to March. Going to bring it forward by a week each time til I'm up to date. Couldn't face my villagers thinking I'd abandoned them for 4 months :S

The cherry blossom season is all too brief. We’re there any new cherry blossom items this year, Miki?

From today until may 7th is the May Day event in AC
it's the same as last year, every player on the island gets 1 (ONE) ticket to go to Rover's maze island
you only get this one trip so when you go home you can't go back
if you played the event last year you get a different maze this time and a different prize
if you didn't play last year, for instance if you restarted your island or if you have a player on your island that didn't play it last year you/they get last years maze and last years prize

Took me three restarts but I conquered the maze and grabbed all the tokens. Rather fun little puzzle.

I am disappointed but unsurprised. I’d hoped they might at least mention a significant update (museum expansion?) to show they’re still supporting what’s been their biggest game. I just hope the success of AC last year drives them to develop the next one in a shorter gap than between the last two versions, because that was a LONG wait. Maybe next E3 will be new hardware with AC at launch or shortly after?

I was hoping for AC news and maybe something about the rumoured Switch Pro - no such luck on either front. :(
