@mimi did you clear the stumps etc as well like for scorpion/tarantula island?

I did. I left one hardwood tree and all of the coconut trees, and caught all but three of the bugs.

Just caught one of those too (the Gigas one?). Had to wait till it cornered itself in the upper right of the map before I could get near it!

That’s the one. It’s huge!

I finally found my first pearl this evening and used it to craft a mermaid table. I can't imagine the mermaid stuff really fitting in with the rest of my stuff, so I'll just craft bits and leave it for others to pick up.

Also, has anyone had Pascal appear more than once on the same day?

I’ve just caught one, too, but only after 200 sea creatures, so they must be pretty rare.

Yes, I must have had an unlucky run, I think.

I’m happy though as I’ve just caught another two of my favourite creatures in the game
ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
giant isopod and horseshoe crab
.

Thank you so much for the fossil, @jem! x

Okay and to confuse people at least one fossil has had a name change - however from comparing the lists it looks like i'm now down to 3

Quote:
Quetzal Torso
Tricera Skull

Tricera Tail

I also have quite a pile of dupes again so will drop those off at Flump

The turnip prices change at 12:00 each day so a little tight on time for anyone to visit now (but someone might) - it sounds like you were on the 'large spike' chain - if you want to track them then this website :

https://turnipprophet.io/

if you give it the turnip prices on the first few days of the week will accurately tell you what you can expect

Saharah is around, although easy to miss as she was in the far upper-left corner when I saw her. It's Quillson's last day on the island too :)

I don't think the turnip price has been above its starting value all week on my island.. it's around 70 at the moment.

My girls have a couple of questions and wondered if you would be able to help?

1) How do you do the drawings in the sand?
2) How do you get the paths that go around the island?

Thank you!

Be sure to put far better, more exciting, and larger pictures directly opposite so everything pushing and shoving to see Mona won't realise what they're missing.

You need to buy the custom designer upgrade from Tom Nook and he'll give you an app on your phone for custom designs. You can then either create or download a design.
When you select it outside you can choose to place it on the ground.
Paths are another purchase for redeeming nook miles but only unlocks after you've had KK Slider do a concert I believe.

Hiya!
it's one of the things I wish were different, so many things don't work when you are visiting each other (or even just have the gate open) that it's hard to show other people how to do stuff or I would happily show them

one important question for the second is: Has KK Slider visited the island for a concert and have the girls got the landscaping ability?
If they do they have the icon on the nook phone with the hardhat that I've put a red thing around.
So: unlock KK slider by going to Tom Nook and asking"what shall I do" or some such, after the concert (and credits btw) you get the icon. In the Nook machine you can buy additional "permissions" but all in all this gives you the ability to make paths, fill in/create rivers and ponds and create/destroy cliffs
but not when your gate is open

the other thing has to do with designs and you need a stone Ables clothing shop.
In the shop you find at the back, like a touch screen slab (not so good at words atm as have migraine)
in that you can look up designs to move to your nook phone
you have to look up what you want before hand, I usually find them by accident or by browsing https://nooksisland.com/designs
so a sand one you can search https://nooksisland.com/designs?search=sand and save the one you want
and then leave ables, go to the spot you want it, go to the pink icon that I've put the blue thing around
choose the one you want and say "display on ground"
I usually put the creator ID in the search at Ables because a person might have many great designs

now this is also a work around thing for paths if they dont have the other icon yet, because there are plenty of lovely path designs, it just takes time and patience to lay each design one by one, but it looks lovely
https://nooksisland.com/designs?search=path
couple of things about design: they can be wiped out by Y but easily put back
there are limited design spaces in your nook phone, so be careful of designs that take many spaces
because once you use a design, it needs to stay in your nook phone in that spot or it will be gone from your island too, or replaced with what you have overwritten it with
by searching the website you only find english language labels, by searching on google, pinterest etc you can find lovely designs that you would not find by searching the site

sorry for the rambling story, hope it helps at all, pls ask additional questions and I hope my brain will work gooder

I have rearranged them on the grid, left some duplicates on the grass and have taken some duplicates for a friend, I hope that's ok

Absolutely :) Ultimately, I just want to eventually have one complete set of spares so that anyone new coming to the game that needs a specific fossil can get it from my island - any duplicates I just get rid of, so I don't mind where they go.
