Be Excellent To Each Other

As, I am sure a fair few of you will be aware, I'm about to become an 'out of contract scientist'. Which is cool.

However, at 4pm, tomorrow, is my leaving 'Afternoon Tea'. I might be asked to say a few words. I have had a thought about this, and all I can come up with is:

"We did all this shit, which turned out to be awesome and I'm very proud to have done it"

So, I guess, I can drop the swearing and spin it out for 5 minutes.

Also, there's leaving drinks in the pub prior to curryfest, and I think I might need to sort that out tomorrow as well. As Mrs A wants to come with, which is cool as it means I'll get on the right bus...

Ideas, anyone, short of opening my shirt to reveal a c4 vest?

At my leaving day a few weeks back, I mostly spoke about how the difference between a good job and a bad job is the people, and although I wasn't going miss this (point around office) I will you (point at onlookers).

Resist the urge to badmouth anyone, even if they deserve it, but feel free to make snide comments that are open to interpretation.
Then get drunk and have a curry and abuse everyone you don't like.

Yeah, don't slag anyone off - indeed, in my letter of resignation I thanked my boss for everything I'd learned over the last two years as it has finally sprung me into a proper career from the looks of things.

Feel free to drunkenly play people's rivalries off each other while in the pub later, of course.
