And this is on top of the aimbot/wallhack/target frame shit that's going on as well. Just ruins the game when there are hackers on the server.

I remember hacking being reported as a massive problem in PUBG last year when it was popular. I never once saw anyone who you could reliably say had been doing it.

I mean we played that game a lot. If that’s the one example you can think of I don’t think it was as prevalent as reported. And I suspect this game is similar.

Well they've banned 355,000 Apex Legends players on PC up to now, and they're just the ones who got caught, so it's clearly not 'rare' either.

I've seen some blatant aimbotting when I've watched my surviving squad members carry on playing after I got killed.

I almost never checked my killcams or reviewed a game so I can’t say whether it happened to me. I only remember that one scenario because you were in a 2v1 (or such like) and he headshotted you through the grass and I couldn’t even see your character from his POV. To be fair though, we had tons of stupid deaths and I was playing with a pad; good and bad players alike mopped our squad up.

I tried this, it didn't work, and I suppose it's very much a deliberate decision. Still, there's loads of new stuff in Forza Horizon 4 so I've just been playing that instead.

For the record though, the XB1X version of Apex Legends looks absolutely bloody lovely and runs like a dream, so if you can play FPS games well with a pad, this would be a great version of the game to check out.
