Nothing is overly complex on its own. It works pretty well, but I've hit a bit of a brick wall with the second stage final boss. The very last section of his fight involves a couple of sections where you have to jump over an obstruction in the 'road', which leads directly into a turn. The jump is fine but I'm consistently failing the turn after it and dying. What I don't know, because the game doesn't make it clear, is whether you need to be on the ground to turn. So, do I need to jump over the obstacle then immediately swipe down to land then swipe to turn? Or am I fine staying in the air and it's just that I'm somehow fluffing the turn-swipe every single time? Both of these sections happens so quickly that I'm not getting a chance to work out what's happening, and neither approach seems to work any better; so I'm just smashing through the rest of the fight before getting to that one part and dying over and over again. Which sucks, as you can imagine. |

Well, forget about that section specifically. I'm wondering more generally whether you can turn corners while you're in the air or not? I assume the jump technique continues to be used outside this level, although perhaps not I suppose. |

Got to about level 4-10 on Android Thumper and was really enjoying it up to that point, but the lane change mechanic is just a step too far so I'm out. Neither the tilt nor on-screen button control options gel well enough with everything else to be usable, plus it's possibly just a bit too many things to juggle for my poor aging brain. I got my money's worth though so fuck it. |

Thumper but not in vr doesn't really appeal. Although Thumper in vr was a bit of an assault on the senses. |

Assuming that the Knuckles controllers have tracking LEDs in the rings, I'd guess someone will end up making them Quest compatible. |
