We have to fill a request for travel form to go on business trips, which seems fair.

I filled one in and said it was urgent. Booked my flights and now in Glasgow..

The travel was rejected, this is going to be an interesting discussion......

I went here for a beer last night after work. Jürgen's Bier Haus. Huge mural of the man himself, and full of Top Reds. Perusing the menu, I was disappointed that the Gerrard wasn't one club Sandwich, but the pizzas are all round because they aren't very good at corners.

If you thought the disappearing coin trick at the cottage was tortuous and needlessly spun out...this morning, to the audience of the people I live with, I did the magic bag trick where you draw a picture of the kid, rip it up put it in the bag, say the magic words and it gets fixed. To great applause. Then went to get a cup of tea. Whilst I was doing that, turns out BigOne had spent ten minutes drawing a picture, ripped it up, put it in the bag and nothing. Which was awkward.

Reminds me of a friends' kid who had a tooth fall out at school, didn't tell his parents and tested to see if the Tooth Fairy still came. Sneaky little bugger.

That's a coincidence. I was just in Smyths picking up Luigis Mansion 3 and saw a Baldi figure (season 1). It was in the gaming section but I had absolutely no idea what it was.

I got Luigi’s Mansion today, too. Love Luigi!

I’d love kwellbellqwop to be impaled on an elephant tusk and paraded around the circus.

Also, I played Luigi’s Mansion 3 at EGX this year and it was crap.

Mind you, I also played Final Fantasy VII remake and didn’t think much of that either.

But I did play a game called Boundary (I think) which was Space CoD and was really fun.

Also I played the Hollow Knight sequel on the Switch and that was great.

So, yeah, these are things.

This letter from my mum in America arrived this morning, looks like the usps has shredded it, the machines have eaten the contents and then they've sent me an empty envelope. There's a hand cut out note from the Pittsburgh distribution center saying the contents has probably ended up in Atlanta and I can fill in a form if I want them to look for the whatever it was.

It seems to be filled with thick, hateful dust. More than likely it's that dust that comes off horses when you brush them mixed with belly button fluff and super fine asbestos fibres. I didn't show the front because address but it looks like the razor sharp fingers of the furiously disgruntled sorting robots have shredded it in a fit of menial task induced rage. They'll be coming for us next.

That story couldn't help but remind me of the Metro story yesterday of the woman who loved tea so much (30-40 cups a day) she asked to be buried in a coffin that looked like a box of tea bags

On reflection, listening to the Children in Need album on my morning drive was a miscalculation.

Never Grow Up by Shaun Dooley had me blubbing like a hormonal grandmother. A great look on the Rock Ferry Bypass :DD

I kind of like the Mariah Carey crisp advert. But the effort she puts in at the end to avoid actually eating one is the highlight:

I watched it earlier and that was exactly my thought, as well as the undercurrent of sheer contempt at the crisp. Amazing. Also kind of amazed that they don’t actually use the line ‘all I want for crispmas is you’ which I’d completely assumed that they would do, because... you just would.

Also, more Mariah stuff, but she posted a Video at midnight 1st November on IG of her going to bed in Halloween garb, the clock turning to midnight and her waking up in Christmas gear to a call from Father Christmas, which I thought was cute.

I used to dislike Mariah like all people everywhere (whilst still thinking its one of the top three Christmas tunes ever) but I watched her in the film Precious and found a new found respect for her. She had a moustache. I like that she had a moustache. It helped me see past the Mariah-ness.

Also, that’s a great film. It’s difficult to watch, but brilliant. The main actress puts in such a heart-wrenching performance that it stuck with me for ages.
