The problem with a lot of arcade side-scrolling beat-em-ups is that they get very unfair quite quickly just take the fun out of it as you end up pumping credit after credit in. If she does like the genre, something like Knights of the Round might be worth a look as a bit of skill can get you a long way through the game on one credit. |

The Punisher and The Simpsons were the only arcade games I could complete in 1-2 credits in me yuth. Last time I went to Skegness one of the arcades there had half its floor stacked with old broken machines from the 90s, with a full sit down four player massive Simpsons cab. I wish I had the room for that. |

Other than that, Robocop, Punisher, Prehistoric Isle, Aliens, Roadblasters, Double Dragon 2, time soldiers, and probably a couple of others were one or two credit machines. Depending on difficulty settings, I could play Gauntlet pretty much indefinitely. |
