Just a heads-up, I'm pretty confident that there's a massive house price crash coming in the next few months. Certainly that's what usually happens directly after I buy a new flat:

Top floor? It’d better have a lift.

Top floor was one of my hard criteria because my current upstairs neighbours are cunts and if I had to put up with that again in a new flat I'd probably kill myself. Or them. Or them and then myself.

Not sure yet, the offer was literally only accepted like five minutes ago and the current owners haven't yet got a place to move to. My current move out date of my flat is in May so it's almost certain I'll have to move in with my folks for some amount of time in the middle. No massive hardship there though.

Saw this on my IG feed. It’s some little gadget to help with pelvic floor excercises. It says it’s good for postnatal recovery, bladder control and ‘enhanced intimacy’. Good, good. But it also says ‘Mother’s Day Exclusive’. So, if anyone is still looking for a gift for their mum on Sunday, there you go.

I sometimes like a bit of mystery with the stuff I buy on eBay. Took a chance on this lot at £70 with one of the worst photos I've seen on a listing. Cropped it and rotated it and can only make a few of the titles out, but at least it'll be a nice surprise when it arrives :)

2 up on the left is a Zelda
Top left is Jurassic Park
Third column in the middle might be bomberman...

I think there's a Mario Kart, a couple of Star Wars and maybe Donkey Kong County carts in there too. We shall see :)

To the right of Zelda, is that Striker?

I like this game though! I'll have a proper look when I get home.

Hold on, is that really how it's spelled?

I'll hold my hands up and admit I don't actually know how it's spelled, having never seen it written down, but in my head it was always Chinny Rackorn.

In hindsight, I have no idea what it was meant to actually mean other than accuse someone in the playground of telling porkies.

At my school it was either "chinny" or "billy", the latter presumably coming from the mock beard-stroke.

Or "Ichichin" if you're Findus.

I have no idea what my child's mind (or indeed my 38-year old mind) thought Rackorn meant. I think I assumed it was a character from a book.

Oddly, three of the games (on the right) don't seem to match three from the original photo. I'm not going to complain though - I did ok out of it overall, particularly with Sparkster in there.

The SNES mini plays just about every SNES game near perfectly (easy to hack and add them) if you dont want to go down the route of downloading and using an emulator on your PC or phone or whatever else.
