If it's used as a genuine extension of psychiatry, which clearly does work, then no.

I did take part in an "entertain the drunk students" stage hypnosis act at uni and despite my natural cynicism I did succumb to the suggestion, to an extent.

I can see how the two can pair well in good hands.

As befits its reputation as a modern and dynamic city, Oxford police chased a bicycle thief through the town on horseback.

FFS. It feels like Monday.

Weird week; wasn't required to work on Bank Hol. Monday. Worked Tuesday. Rest days Weds and Thurs to compensate for working last week-end, and working today. At least I don't do night shifts any more or I'd be even more out of sync.

I had a socially distanced meet up on Monday with some friends and took this 360 picture...

There's probably a way I could embed it here but the link will have to do for now.

Looking for a good day today:

Just Dance 2020
Pigs out on the grass
Ticket to ride first journey
Mariokart
Take a picture so people can guess what film it is from (BigOne still is a bit yellow from two weeks back) for a zoom quiz
Maybe some elite dangerous or animal crossing
Beers and wine.

I'm trying to resist Elite Dangerous - it's £5.99 for the standard edition on the Xbox but I don't know when I'd have the time to play it. (A couple of the Resident Evil remakes are £3.99 too)

Cheers, yeah.Except for TTR and Mariokart.

Had the thrill of smuggling 283 tonnes of narcotics right under the noses of the 5-0 into a space station, only to find it didn't have a black market to sell them on, so I then I had to smuggle them out again, and into another system that did past the feds, and then I lost 800 space dollars on the deal. Crime doesn't pay, guys

After ten or more weeks working at home, I've finally got a decent chair. Aleady feels far more comfortable. I also got a desk to replace the reinforced painting table I've been working on but haven't put that up yet.

I won an office chair and desk many years ago. They came just at the right time as I'd only recently moved house but yeah, they're both still going strong and it's definitely worth having a decent chair.

:this: My last chair was a cheapish one from Ryman as I didn't have the budget for a better one, but when that started falling apart earlier in the year, I treated myself to this one. It's been spot on so far.
