The boy has just got back into playing on his PS4 after a long time off it, he's been playing R6 Seige but gets well shouty at times because "everyone else is shit". His friends are all playing Fortnite so I asked him why doesn't he just play that. Apparently, because it's shit - my argument that surely it can't be that bad if you get to play with your mates was not going down very well.

So last night I said I'd give him £50 if he could win at Fortnite. Came home today and he's won already. Little bastard.

Has he won a Battle Royale, though? It's trivial to win in 50v50.

I assumed so, that was the deal and he couldn't wait to tell me! I haven't watched the video yet though...

My internet has been down since 10pm last night, which is annoying. I'm spending the time watching the twitter meltdown. There seems to be a belief that telling the sky Twitter account that they need to fix it and it is unacceptable will speed up the engineers working on it :D

Apparently roadworks have damaged the cable and access is proving tricky, it might be a while. I'm going to use it as an excuse to go for a walk round the park :)

I did not read that as ‘walk’.

2 hours later I'm back home, still no internet. Good job I wasn't supposed to be working from home today!

Nice walk though. I saw fish, dragonflys, squirrels, dogs and birds. Only got lost once.

@Trooper

Engineers continue to work hard to restore your Phone & Broadband services as soon as possible. For more updates, check MySky app or service.status.sky.com.

(But how you would check this whilst having no internet is beyond me)

I've had to transfer a gig from my data piggy bank today. It's not a bad system from sky regarding mobile data really, it was super easy to do, and if I don't use it, it gets put back in the piggy bank.

Everybody should phone their carrier and see what they'll offer. I rang up EE and went from 1Gb an month to 20Gb a month for a quid.

Hopefully it doesn't drag on as long as the last one did.

I liked it, but I think there was only enough story for eight episodes at the most.

It really really was.

I've been super disappointed by JJ series 2 though - I pretty much gave up after Whizzer. It was like a bad Buffy episode or something.

I enjoyed the second season, not as good as the first but at least it was entertaining enough for me to watch until the end. Which is more than I can say for Luke Cage.

I didn't think it was that bad; the whole story as a whole could've used some work but it wasn't bad, wasn't great either but hey ho.

I think that’s the way with most/all of those series.

I am watching chronologically and am halfway through The Defenders. It’s really entertaining!

I’d say JJ s01 is my favourite, and then Luke Cage.

It dragged like an absolute fucker, but towards the end was actually really good, and has some of the best action scenes in any of the series.

Would have been significantly better if a few episodes shorter.

They should have finished the season when the first boss

Why are we not talking about this in the Netflix thread, or US TV thread? Sheesh.

Come on, S2 of JJ was never going to be as good because no David Tennant.

I've not seen all of JJ S2 yet, and have no idea if he is in it, but if he is, this is a bit of a spoiler, can I request this sort of stuff is not mentioned in the Bits and Bobs thread please?

Not exactly a main character though, was he? Being a figment of her imagination for an episode wasn't quite the same as being the big bad.
