The seller crappie sent me a lovely little message about the film and how it was a family favourite u TIL his children outgrew it and hoping that my family would have many happy memories watching such a great bit of animation, so I sent him a picture of the Play Doh Totoros Nana and Darwin have been making and assured him we’d all enjoy the film many (many) times over. It’s nice when sellers have a minute to spare to be a bit personable.

On Monday I received a grey 'insufficient postage' slip from Royal Mail. I don't normally gamble but decided to pay the £1.50 online and see what came through.

The guilty envelope arrived today. Invite to a friend's wedding! I'm not going to mention this in my RSVP.

iPhone XR. The camera is slightly disappointing, but not worth £600-800 to get the XS/Max.

I'd still expect even the 'cheapest' iPhone to have a decent camera though. Am I just being oddly fussy and that image is actually fine? Genuine question because it looks really bad to me and I'm surprised to see something like that coming out of a current model iPhone of any kind.

Fake edit: maybe I'm just not used to seeing mobile phone images on a full size monitor these days or something. I'm going to email something from my phone to my work here just to check that theory.

They often did this at the time Blu-ray was in its infancy, to encourage people to future proof, I guess.
