People can start giving me money now.

Cost is c. 2400 which I think is about the same as before.

If we can get 24 people then £100 each.

Let’s do that.

@Davpaz if you can't make it, can you pop along on the Saturday morning and set your Retro Pi up?

You can pick it up on Sunday night.

I keep thinking about getting a 128GB SD card and downloading one of the pre-made images, but they invariably never have Amiga stuff.

As long as we don’t have to play that classic game about witches again.

I've got loads of Amiga stuff on mine at the moment, and I could just load up the entire TOSEC and WHDLoad sets that I've got, but then there'd be a shit load of dross.

I keep meaning to create a pre-made image of my own, featuring the "Top 100" games for various platforms - Speccy, Amiga etc.

You can read about it in Ashen's second book.

It's meant to be "ravey".

Aye.

Although i still remember it from a demo back when it was released. It remains probably the worst amiga game I ever played. (and I played dangerous streets, microcosm and other games of that ilk, so the bar is pretty low.)

At the moment it looks like 15 people, possibly, but also possibly fewer.

If we don’t get any more then we might have to downsize to one cottage.

This is potentially a deal breaker for me. The one and only time I stayed in the big cottage I barely slept and was ill for the rest of the week. :(

Why? Is the big cottage built on top of a plague pit?

Heh, it's always possible!

I think it's just an old building so every time someone went up or down stairs or laughed loudly it would wake me up (I'm a light sleeper anyway and once awake can find it difficult to get back to sleep). I could feel myself needing to be careful what I said during the day I felt so grouchy and I didn't want to snap at anybody. But surviving on a few hours sleep for three nights then trying to go back to work just made me feel awful. :(

The issue is easily solved by more people coming though. :)
