When I was 11 Maradona knocked England out with his hand of God. When I was 15 Germany knocked England out on Penalties. When I was 21 I was assured football was coming home. It did not. I spent the next decade watching the golden generation fail. Then I watched some dross for another decade. Now, I have hope, no expectations, just hope. Hope is what gets you. But I still believe. I still believe. It's coming home, it's coming home, it's coming, football's coming home.

Way I look at it? at least we got another game to watch with England in it
