We went in yesterday looking for a dehumidifier. There are signs up saying 'the 30% off is off prices that were set on the 6th November.'

Which to me says that they put all their prices up to create a fake discount as the prices were still rubbish.

Author:  Mimi [ Sun Nov 18, 2012 19:49 ]
Post subject:  Bargains, Bargains, Bargains!

Yes, the 'discount' prices were still more than the standard prices we had seen in places like Argos. The notice about the prices on the 6th November quite clearly stated that stock had not been at that higher price for the standard 28 days, so I think they hiked the pre-sake prices and cut 30% off after that time. Either that or they were 30% higher than everywhere else to begin with, which may have been their problem.

TVL25 gets you 25% off loads of stuff at Evans Cycles. I used it to pre-order a GoPro 3 Black camera for £270 instead of £360. I don't know where the code came from so they might have some get out clause but it seemed worth a punt.

Indeed, not that much off, but better than nothing if you were going to get one anyway.
The most surprising thing for me was that the Air is now the cheapest laptop in the range, it wasn't long ago that was the premium model.

Either £50 or £60 for a fightstick (various designs) or £50 / £75 for the wheels (they also have things like the Street Fighter branded Fightpads which are good if you wanted a decent d-pad to play fighting games on the Xbox)
