Heh, you may joke, but Samsung 500GB portable drives are about £15 cheaper if you buy the special edition with that Michael Jackson film on it.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Although to be fair, you also have to put up with owning a drive that looks like this:

Xbox deal of the week is L4D2 "The Passing" for 320 moon money. Is it any good? Worth getting, anyone play this still?

I thought it was a better chapter than some in the game. Probably around the correct price it's worth.

Is Rainbow Six worth 2 quid? Bearing in mind I loathed Ghost Recon.

Fed up of dull grey FPSes and endless racing games on the eggbox? Why not buy Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts for four fucking quid? It's quite decent.

Aye, I didnae like GR either but RB6 is gid. It's most fun on co-op (2 players I think), but co-op misses out most of the story/cutscenes. The Terrorist Hunt scenarios are a game in themselves (4 player co-op in them!).

Main problems are the psychic fucking enemies & the cunts on multiplayer (although it's likely quiet enough to be whoreable).

You can't actually play the campaign co-op on R6V can you? Isn't it terrorist hunts only?

Ebay run daily deals in association with proper retailers and today has an interesting one - £16.99 for official Rock Band drums (360) with free postage. It's via Zavvi rather than just buying from some Ebay seller so should be a safe bet too. These offers started at 8am so not sure how long they'll last for.

Same thing again today except they're now £7.99

Just been to ASDA to get some stationery and decided to try the trade in service because I couldn't be arsed to go all the way into town.

Traded 3 games and got £10 more than I would have with Cex (or £7 had Gamestation price matched) and with ASDA discounting a fair bit of new software it works out a lot better value than Gamestation at the moment.

I got £20 for Crackdown 2 which you can pick up new for £17.99 from Play

When you trade in at Asda, do you get credit for other games, or can you use them on anything from the shop?

Anything in the shop other than lottery. I shan't be telling the wife such things though obviously.

All the EA Games appear to be down to 59p each.

I just got Madden '11. It seems very similar to Madden '10... would you believe it?

Really? I thought it was light years ahead of Madden 10 in every respect. Graphics, controls and the Game Flow system is brilliant.

The iPhone version?

The graphics are different (not sure if better... still getting used to them). The controls seem identical, apart from I feel less in control than I did before (but probably just me getting used to it).

Haven't really tried out the gameflow system as yet. It appears to just suggest a play and then skips the selecting bit so you just keep playing... but how do they know what play I want to select? I take great joy from trying to rarely repeat plays...

A website is selling some stuff.

Red Ded Redemption with bonus stuffs was £27.99 which might cause me to twitch later.

Just Cause 2 is £14.99

Other stuff as well.

This game is really bloody good.

Twin stick shooter, but more inspired by scrolling shooters.

Half price preorder.

Well my brilliantly might be different to your brilliant (I don't have a HDTV remember) but seems to run lag free at the defaults with the rez pumped up to 1100ish by 750ish,

1280*800 is a bit skippy.

It's also the unibody mac, which has the better graphicy card thing. /Coffey
