If it wasn't for Far Cry 5, and the fact that he looks older, that's probably how that room looked 25 years ago.

Also, this seems like a great idea.

Oh, the arrows don't seem to do anything, and if you click through it's rotated 180 degrees (so still wrong, but differently wrong).

Actually, I bet he self-published it.

It was rotated 90 degrees when I posted it and 270 when you click on it. Now it seems to be upside down, but still 270 degrees when you click though. Are the arrows meant to do anything?

They do, but the image will almost always be cached in the browser so you won't see what they've done until you force refresh. I think.

Force refresh doesn't work anymore. It's since the fast website was implemented. I'm guessing it uses some aggressive caching to improve load times.

It is, to be honest.

Perhaps it could be labelled more subtly, though.

Apparently I stabbed the arrows enough times to make it appear the right way up.

Flickr has been sold off to someone. I’m going to have to download all my pics again as a back up, but I genuinely don’t know if I have enough room to store them.

I had them all already. Any that were on Flickr were cherry picked from my collection.

I decided to close after reading that Flickr had been acquired by SmugMug, which may be an awesome place but sadly, I hate the name. I'm oot!

They're not likely to rename flickr, in the same way it's still called "flickr" and not "Yahoo! Photos!".

I've been fixin' to reduce my online footprint lately anyway, and flickr was just next on the chopping block. This SmugMug thing just reminded me about it.

I had a leaf through my old Yahoo email account before I nuked it. Maxed out with spam. Sad. I remember the old yahoo chat days. Such innocence.

Oh god yeah - she needs so much running that she'd hate Singapore - there are very very few places you can let a dog off the lead in Singapore. Plus it's fecking hot.

She's super happy with Ruth's folks though, so the only real downside is that we all miss her! I'm hoping she actually remembers me :)

"Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy" has been released for Android and iOS. Phone insurers are going to be really confused over the massive spike in claims.

BA business class is shit. It was on the way over here, will be on the way home ("Home"! weird that's what I'm thinking of it as). The business class lounge at heathrow is like a canteen with alcohol in it.

Come to think of it, that's probably not that bad. It's just the rubbish "beds" in the plane.

WTF wtf? BA first is shit too. Neither hold a candle to Singapore Business Class. The fact BA business requires the person in the inside seat to climb over your feet while you sleep on a shelf of a bed should say everything. 2/4/2 vs 1/2/1 FFS.

Can we organise a collection or something for Mr Chris?

Maybe ask Bob Geldof & Midge Ure to pen a song?

BA Business is infinitely better if none of Singapore's planes fly your route! Also: just how tight are your diamond shoes?

Sure, that's bad, but also the last backwards-facing seat in each part of the cabin doesn't have to do that. And you get a lovely private little space.

Once you’re in the air can you tell if you’re going backwards or forwards? I mean, I’m sure you can when tge plane is running along the ground or at take off, but once you’re in the clouds, if you couldn’t see out of the window would you be able to ‘sense’ which way the plane is pointed?

only of it changes vector I think due to you conserving your momentum.otherwise you are in a pressurised tube breathing in people's farts whilst the cabin crew judge you.

Whenever possible, I always pick the rear-facing seat on trains. Find it much more relaxing than facing forward. Would love to sit like that in planes, but it's very uncomfortable and annoys other passengers if you try to position yourself appropriately in economy class.

IIRC, the reason that Air France plane that went down was (inter alia) that the pilots couldn’t work out what direction they were moving in, though that was more an up/down issue that anything.

And flights from Warsaw need everyone sitting on left side of the aircraft
