I think as a kid the promise in your head is of this unlimited fizzy pop fountain in your house. It was never going to pan out that way.

We had one. I think one of my dad's mates gave it to him. We only ever had one gas bottle though. I think my dad used to use it when he was home brewing to pressurize the big plastic keg things. I think.

Lidl had one in for £16.99 with two bottles. Argos, do a gas exchange for £12.99. so will work out £12.99 for 60l of water.

Tempted to get another so have spare glass and 2 more bottles.
