Is it cool? Or is it Malicool? Shit, is it VisiCool? These are all very different things.

The swifts have gone, but we now seem to have daily fly-pasts of parakeets.

Are they the rose ringed parakeets? We used to have a load of those near us growing up, always in flocks of 15-20+. I thought they'd escaped from a pet shop or zoo the first time I saw them!

I think the parakeets have been a relatively common sight in the parks of London and the south since the 80s (I looked them up in a few books when I first saw them as a kid), and have been steadily spreading up the country since as the average temperature rises. I've not seen any here in the W. Midlands, though I have heard there are instances of them. They're so bright and cheery if they're the same ones (green with a pinkish and black necklace (though I can't remember if that was just the males, perhaps) and a bright, strawberry red beak. It felt like I was somewhere more exotic than Neasden when they settled in the garden.

I think we all need to be reminded of TheVision's silver shoes before we decide his place on the scale of cool.

Here’s my story… It’s Zardocool!

I may have already mentioned this but I’ll tell it again. A close friend of mine got excommunicated at the end of June and not 8 weeks later, it was revealed that we've been having an affair since March. Everyone found out at the same time and we got kicked out by our wives. It turns out that the ladies knew all along but didn't say anything to the locals.

Now, fast forward to a few weeks ago when I met Mekon. He answered an smoke signal to become our wedding/party band Mongolian Throat singer. I’d never met him before he auditioned and to be fair, I wouldn’t have done anyway because he lives in Mekonta. He’s a great singer and I did some filming while we practiced which I showed to another friend (The best friend of my new fella)

This friend was happily Facebook snooping on Dan Dare who had an affair the other day and what does he turn up, a picture of this Space Pilot with my new throat singer!

It turns out that the two of them have been at war for years. All he knows is that he split from his boyband recently but didn’t know why.

What are the chances of these two, seemingly unrelated people knowing each other? Pretty slim I’d say! Small world and all that…

The pie seller was absolutely fantastic! The actor was wonderful and a real highlight of the program!

The piece by Tom Gordon has been written for maximum innuendo to allow the wildest speculations on social media – which are of course duly taking place – but the alleged events relate entirely to some tweets from our Twitter account, none of which have been deleted and all of which are still publicly visible.

Nothing more sinister or serious than some tweets has occurred or been alleged to have occurred. That’s all we’ll be saying on the subject at this time
