Just realised I've been reading my electricity meter wrong for... god knows how long?! The instructions on the web page say not to submit the number after the decimal and I've literally only just noticed there's a decimal point. :S :facepalm:

According to the Beeb in the penultimate paragraph of this article, 'you should at least consider encrypting important files and storing them on a separate hard drive that isn't wi-fi enabled, or at least keeping them in a password-protected folder.
