This stuff is basically a bottled premade version of what you're making on top of your chips when you combine curry sauce with ketchup. It's really nice.

I hate the wotd 'butty'. And 'spread' when referring to a collection of food. A special hell is reserved for 'roasties'.

OK gravy on chips I'm prepared to (begrudgingly) forgive someone for (EXTREMELY DEAR TO ME, mind) - but smothering bacon (and sausages FFS, with collateral damage to adjacent fried egg(s)) with... with... maple syrup .... Now that is truly unforgivable; I mean, there's only so much a guy can take. :D

Nah, soz, IDGI.
Maple syrup is for ice cream, otherwise mess off with your near-saturated sugar solution.

Baking tray, foil, brown sugar, bacon, more brown sugar, drizzle with maple syrup, more foil, second baking tray, bake for 30 min until crispy, use to top burgers. Candied bacon. Fucking great.

Also if you object to maple being even adjacent to bacon then you're either not eating pancakes with maple syrup or you're not eating bacon with your pancakes, and either is demonstrably and objectively wrong.

'Barm' and worse 'Barmcake' are the worst abominations in terms of describing bread.

When I first moved to Manchester, I was most aggrieved to be handed a pathetically small, dry, entirely plain and suspiciously Asda multipack-sourced plain bread roll (not even with any butter FFS), having been offered - and ordered - a "barmcake". >:|
