It might possibly be a log splitter, those two triangle things on top look splitty to me. If not that, I'm gonna guess it's just one small section of Bik's wildly over-powered coffee grinder.

It’s the colour you get when you mix yellow and red.

Squirt is right that it's a log splitter, a 7 ton electric one. The "blade at each end" thing is one of Forest Master's gimmicks, DuoBlade they call it. The weaker models only have one blade.

What does 7 ton refer to, the crush weight? Because that sounds like a lot.

Super. Do you cut your own trees to split? I really like your shoe storage, too.

One of the YouTuber's I watch has recently moved house to the country, his wife has used the opportunity to set up her own channel where she does some diy chores doing up the house and grounds.

The latest one was her using a log splitter, similar to the one purchased here, whilst her husband uses an axe:

I don't think they do the 8ton version anymore but yes, same company!

I opted for the "don't need to bend down as much" stand obviously. I'm in it for back saving, which is why I'm not relying on my hatchet, axe, saw horse and 3.5ton upright gravity splitter!

They also haven't fitted the EU legally-required work bench and guard. Tut tut ;)

However they also don't know about the return lock - you do your longest log first, and set a stop so it doesn't go all the way back to fully open every time. Saves a bunch of that running about to try and beat the mechanism.

Theoretically at least. They do a 22 ton version that can do 1.5m logs and has a lifter. I could not justify that 8+ times as much money!

I'll pass that on to Helen, it's her that finds these things to stop me piling things on the floor :)

Some trees I do myself or fall over, proper ones we pay a tree surgeon to trim or fell. Being just below the crest of a hill we need to keep/rotate trees to stop our garden ending up in next door's garden...

These were published while the Second World War was still underway, and cost me a whopping £4 for the pair.

Does this mean that you need to buy some more synths, otherwise you'll be wasting it?

Would it, by any chance, be a Crossley? Or a 1 BY ONE?

No, I haven't bought a plane, nor a dirtbike. The field and the ramp aren't mine either.

But I did buy tickets for an airshow, as the oldest boy (now 12) is really into planes and fighter jets. I haven't been to an airshow since I was a teenager myself, so it was a really good day out. It was a long drive (3.5 hrs there, and the same back) and was very hot, making for a big day but totally worth it.

It was a really good show, some cool stunts (bike jumping over a plane, a plane landing on and then taking off from a moving truck) and acrobatics. Plus the first time my son has seen a fast jet fly by; to close it off they had an F35 whizz about for a bit and it was very very loud.

That’s great. We went to an air show with Dr Z last year and it was fab (and also very, very hot)!

It was a choice between taking a fresh photo, and not bothering as I had one on my phone.
