How much was that mate? Could do with a better chair for my Wednesday home working, the one I have from Ikea is ok but not for all day use.

It was £300. I don't think I'd have spent that much in one go but the one I sent back was £200 and my back was killing. So stumping up a bit more seemed like a price worth paying. I even looked at the ones we have at work, they don't make my back hurt and they aren't fancy looking but they cost £350 anyway.

I know. Bloody sideways again. The product is good, though.

I like both crunchy and smooth peanut butter, and Marmite, but I’d never thought of combining them. It DOES need a bit of stirring before use, but the Marmite isn’t overpowering.

Recommended, IF you’re a fan of both elements.

I really liked the flavour, but it was too oily/thin in texture.

Been having chair-related back troubles. I got one from amazon that just wasn't working for me, a mesh type one with lumbar support that felt like having someone's foot in your back. It was torture. So I after a month of trying every adjustment I could I gave in and sent it back.

Just as a wild stab in the dark, have you tried an old tin bath?

My Ma and I have cooked dinner in it the last couple of nights (we bought her one too, to say thank you). Popped all of the ingredients for a bolognese in, including the pasta, set to seven minutes and done. Boy, it was amazing. It pushed loads of flavour into the pasta itself. It was amazing. Made a great curry in it last night, too. Have just bought an accompanying cookbook because, really, Ma and I have just been guessing, but I’m already so impressed goodness knows how awesome we’ll be with actual recipes.

For anyone interested, the Sous Vide version is currently £90 in Costco.

I grabbed 8 for an IMAX screening on Thursday.

There are approximately 100 better ways I could have spent £100.

Glorious! What was your old one? Do you want to sell it if the rest of it works? I have a slightly dodgy Polar 400 (sticky buttons) that needs replacing at some point.

Since switching to vertical mice a while back, the RSI shooting pains I was getting after using my computers has gone completely. However, the Anker mice I'd been using seem a bit cheap - I've broken two so far, mainly through knocking them on the floor (the extra height of the mouse means they're very easy to knock with your hand until you get used to it). So as this one is heavily discounted as part of Black Friday, I've upgraded.

Would you imagine it would be too large for Mrs Fop's hands? She has hands fairly typical of the fairer sex.

Christmas is coming early in the Fop House.

It's certainly bigger than the Anker. I still use an Anker on my other computer, so I'm able to take a side-by-side photo

Are they comfortable to use? I'm spending an increasing amount of time at a computer (and getting older) so I'm thinking of the wear and tear on my poor little hands and arms.

Also, they look a bit like butt plugs.

Follow up question - are they comfortable?

Author:  devilman [ Mon Nov 25, 2019 23:49 ]
Post subject:  Re: What have you bought?

You get used to them very quickly. As mice. Might take a bit more getting used to as a butt plug.

Both have a DPI button on them - I put them on the highest setting just so that I don't have to move the mouse as much on the desk.

The vertical mice are much better than the "penguin" ones that look like buttplugs.

Source: I touch a lot of other people's mice.
