4% is like a mid-strength beer. It's plenty strong enough.

It's 4%, so you're going to need quite a number of them to get drunk.

Unless you're Gaz, in which case just a couple should do it.

:DD

It works well in the nature of a 'punishment/challenge'. It's easy to strawpedo (unless it's out the fucking freezer) and isn't much of any kind of bother unless you happen, perchance, to be already in the middle of a drinking session or hungover.

Depends on your definition of "any kind of bother" because I only had one but it gave me fucking heartburn for 3 days.

4% is only mid-strength in silly hipster beer world. But anyway, when you couple that with only 250ml 275ml as well it's hardly the most violent of punishments :)

375 ml isn't it?

4% is low-strength in silly hipster beer world.

It's certainly low-strength in real beer world.

Nah, low strength is something like a traditional English mild, which is usually around 3%. Some IPAs are that low too. Mid-strength is normally 4-5%. Anything above 5% is seen as 'strong' (although I drink some beers that are over 10%).
Lagers tend to start at 4% unless they're specifically branded as low-alcohol (or really cheap) but lager is not all beer.

I wonder how much it is by volume? I keep flip-flopping on my answer.

5.54 billion pints of lager were drunk in the UK out of 7.47 billion total, but it (lager) is trending down, apparently.

That's pubs only, though.

All beer is trending down apart from craft beer, which contains lager too. ;)

Ales and IPAs are going up, apparently. Or they were in 2016.
