Loads of snow here and it's still coming. I was supposed to be going to Manchester this evening to see Hanson but I reckon I'm going to have to give it a miss. Annoying.

My neighbour’s husband works in the Apple store in Birmingham. He was due in at 10:30 so set off at 8:30 to wait for the bus. No buses came, so he set off walking towards town as the website said they were still running. Not quite sure why he did this as it’s the opposite direction to Birmingham. Anyway, after walking 50 minutes he arrived at the bus station. Eventually a bus set off and got stuck about 300 yards from the station. After they freed traffic he carried on. It took him just past his house before the main road being blocked off as it’s no longer passable, so all buses were suspended. He was just about 50 yards from my house. Back to where he started over two hours earlier.

Yep, he’s fine and there doesn’t look to be much damage but he’s not getting out without some help.

A passing land rover extracted him and he’s on his way.

I got to Stafford station fine, but my train just went from ‘On Time’ to ‘Delayed’.
