Yes I finished it last night, very good series of telly and manages to do it all in less than three hours total.

People with kids! Check out Booba. Animated shorts featuring an endearing little troll thing. My children have been laughing at it solidly for the last 30 minutes.

Love, Death & Robots gets a thumbs up after the first couple of episodes. Second one almost had me reaching for a Dual Shock near the end, though.

7 episodes in. Some are great, others are mediocre, most feel like they've got a teenage boy as a producer who's shouted 'this needs more boobs' every five minutes. It's quite off-putting. Episode 3 in particular has the character basically completely nude for most of the episode for absolutely no good reason - it doesn't contribute or even make much sense, it just seems to be there to tittilate.

Clearly you haven't watched enough Japanese animated stuff. You racist.

I've been meaning to give this "series" a go since it popped up on Netflix - definitely will now if the Hivemind seems to think it's worth it.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
but isn't that element required for the circular nature of the story? You see him kill a naked girl, then she is the naked girl that kills him?

But I do agree by and large. It gains less than it loses by being excessively puerile and vulgar. The language in the opening of the beast fighting ep felt incredibly forced. Shame because the whole thing is so striking to look at.

Bit weird that people are getting the episodes in a different order.

Now I've seen about half of the series, the boobs could be reigned in without loosing much tone/plot :D

A whole new level of Netflix and chill. Though, honestly, I'd stick with the lounge rather than the fridge.

I was wondering why the picture quality had gone to shit and the sound was all muffled, cheers for the tip, Mr Fop!

I did the first two episodes of Season 3 of Santa Clarita Diet and then the Hearthstone urges took over, but it's still as great as it was in Seasons 1 and 2.

Post subject:  Re: Netflix

The new season of Santa Clarita Diet is superb, they've absolutely maintained the quality from Seasons 1 and 2.

Many genuine LOL moments per episode, and some zinging one-liners.

The actual story is interesting too, and things in the 'zombie world' as it were are evolving, so it's not just the same riffs as the previous seasons.

A recommended watch.

It's not going to be getting me much in the way of hot knickers action though.

Santa Clarita Season 3 is awarded The Hearthly Oscar Of Whiteness and Irrelevance, barnstormingly good final three episodes with loads of laughs and an exciting conclusion to the season's storyline.

I recall Episode 6 felt a bit off but that was the night of the Commons Indicative Votes and I was feeling all weird and miserable so that might just have been my frame of mind at the time.

If you haven't watched this at all yet then treat yourself and get on it, if you've done Seasons 1 and 2 already then 3 definitely keeps up the quality.
