Bloody hell, I've got hundreds. It helps that I go past about 30 pokestops on my way to work, I guess.

Fuck Nintendo.

Snare real animals in parks then make them fight in a wheelie bin.

Still working on the Pokevolving.

There's definitely a lot missing from this. Friends is obvious, and the other thing is some sort of feedback on absent gym status. Tell me when my gym's been attacked, stuff like that.

My game did not require all permissions from Googke, for some reason. I don't know why. I had s look and it doesn't seem to be everyone...

Permissions thing is now totally fixed, I think.

And in other news that is likely of interest only to me, the Android version works on Nougat now.

Not yet.

I saw a lad on his way to uni, playing outside my window. That's definitely what he was doing, by the way he was standing there, and once caught wandered off again.

I wonder if they'll "reset the UK" when it's actually released. I rather hope they do.

Get rid of a load of keen users for an app that makes money through IAPs? Yeah, that'll happen.

No. Obviously I just used my magic powers. You can grab the APK from somewhere and sideload it, although be wary of ones on dodgy sites that have been infected with malware.

What if you just landed from the US and you have a legitimate install? Using a US iTunes account on an iPhone that's currently in the UK isn't breaking any terms of service, it's completely normal and supported.

Niantic could have chosen to block the game at the database level, ie. hide all the Pokestops and gyms in the UK. But it didn't. Having made that choice, it has to move forward with it, I think.

No, he literally had the best source. Don't you remember? It beat your source at the BeexBQ a few years ago.

Because yours wasn't as good.

This appears to be quite a big thing over here already, saw 6 or 7 groups of people doing Pokemon catching on my walk from my car back to the office.

Apparently there is a well-guarded gym at a local bank.

Mrs Hearthly has got it installed on her phone for when Jnr gets back from school, she was talking about it yesterday, 'Daddy, are you aware that a new Pokemon game is being released?'

Apparently if you throw a pokeballs and miss, you can quickly tap it to pick it back up. If I'd known this earlier I might have some pokeballs left. Flip sticks
