I guess, but I'd had it a few days already and Wario Ware is hardly a 'deep' game, and I've had it before on both GBA and DS. I do so love it though. |

R-Type 2 looks pretty nice there but the art styler for R-Type 1 is fucking horrible. There's just something really cheap and generic looking about it |

It's one of the best side-scrolling shooters on the Master System and Spectrum partly because of a lack of decent competition. |

Nintendo Direct announced some more details of the online service last night. The video above explains 5 great features of the online service. They are:- 1. You can play online with your friends 2. You'll be able to play a load of NES games. Online too. 3. Cloud saves 4. The Nintendo mobile app does some stuff including voice chat (They're scraping the barrel now) 5. Special offers (to be revealed online) All this doesn't sound fantastic really but, the service is only £20 a year. I think I can stump up £20 to play Super Mario Bros 3, Ice Climbers and Excite bike on the lovely Switch. |

I agree, the details aren't great so far but then I was thinking that Xbox live is £40 a year and up until recently, that only paid you to go online and play with your friends. Admittedly, it's a much more robust system but still. |

Shit! If you stop paying for the Nintendo online they delete your cloud saves. By comparison, if you stop paying for PS+ you can come back within 6 months and they’ll still be there. |

Here’s something interesting (well, it amuses me), I brought CoD’s MW3 and BLOPS 2 on Thursday and installed them on my Xbox 1 X. Thanks to the Cloud when I came to boot them both up my progress on both of the multiplayer games was saved from years and years ago, despite not having an active Xbox subscription for years and years after getting a PS4 also years ago. Now, that’s impressive service. That information must have been stored, what, for 5-6 years or something daft. |
