I had a nose through the sale stuff on my Switch and Wii U last night. Nothing really stood out on the Switch, but the Wii U had quite a few retro Castlevania titles that I've not played yet. I resisted though, as my to-play pile is big enough as it is. |

I’m just waiting to see what sort of reception Xenoblade Chronicles 2 gets before getting a Switch and Mario. Knowing my luck though, they’ll be sold out for December just when XC2 comes out. |

yes it is... did hats/waterfall/desert/forest now, on to the lakes (not sure how they're called in english) loved in the forst when i turned into a rocket , and then when up to a misty tower, took over a boomba and found a secret moon somewhere in the fog.. until now still not that 'openworldy' though, but apparently that starts in New Donk City.... |

Switch get. Y’know I’ve already had a go on one of these, but when I just got it out the box I was like “goddamn this is dinky”. Much much smaller than I ever remembered my brief time with it. So yeah, the Switch, it’s dinky. |

So they've done the new DOOM on Switch. Sort of. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digit ... t-analysed Despite all the compromises if you watch the videos of the game in motion, it's kind of OK. Ish. Not sure it's the type of game you'd want to play on a Switch though, the whole point of Nintendo consoles is the Nintendo stuff, really. |

I completed Mario Odyssey a week or so ago so that's just in time for me to take in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 tomorrow. I'm not entirely sure that it'll be my sort of game but I am looking forward to it. |

So, bought gunbird, on its Tate mode promise... , we'll it has it, but it has a controller bug... it says it remaps the controllers, but the arrow keys remain moving, in stead of being the weapons... |

Kinda mean that Bayonetta is a download in the special edition. It's on the cartridge on the Japanese special edition (not sure if it's one big cart, or two smaller ones). |

10m consoles sold in 9 months. Zelda (just the Switch version), Mario Kart (just the Switch version) and Mario have all sold 5 million. It's on track to beat the Wii U's lifetime sales within the first year. Good job Nintendo. |

According to the Zen Forums, PFX3 is nearly unplayable in handheld mode, due to sub 30 fps. I would say that it's better to wait for a patch, but since the game is free it doesn't apply. I was really excited about the concept of the Switch, but apart from Mario and Zelda most games are really struggling with technical issues. Even Slain! and Rayman Legends, which were the kind of game that seemed tailor made for the switch, don't work properly. At least, good news, seems like Stern Pinball works fine, and it's already released in cartridge. I'll wait a bit more before I make my decision about the switch. |

Some games are only struggling because of rushed releases and, as a result, very poorly optimised code (which hastily released patches have mostly corrected). |
