It's fucking brilliant.

20 levels of side scrolling shooting and swearing.

It's excellently written, funny (if you like swearing and words), voice overs are absolutely fantastic and plays great.

Initially I was thinking it was a bit fiddly and then I was thinking it ain't as much fun as it was supposed to be and then I reached level 8. Suddenly it clicked. I got Time Attack-itis. I had no idea how I was going to get the ghetto blaster and reach the reporters in 60 seconds. Those reporters were miles away. Then I was sliding, shooting, blowing faces clean off their shoulders in a pixelated explosion of blood as my Danny Dyer screamed "Fackin ell". Sliding through the next door I tripped up a bad ass gangsta and stood over him and popped his head with a squeeze of the trigger whilst Danny screamed "Fack off with ya". Each run I was shaving time off until I finally did it.

Anyway, you ought play it or Jesus will tickle your eyeballs off with his bullets. Yes, Jesus is an unlockable character.

We'll blow me, if it hasn't got an excellent trailer either. Play it and then we and go and have horrendous pancakes at Aunt Bessie's for a crap guzzling good time.

Tried this recently, and much like OlliOlli, despite being able to tell it is a well made game, I found the controls to be a little bit impenetrable. The movement doesn't feel particularly natural or intuitive.

Obviously this is a highly subjective thing. Your mileage may vary.

I literally have no idea what you're talking about.

Left/right on the stick and fire/cover&slide/reload on the face buttons. Atypical platform shooter controls.

Just don't go into it think that playing it is all about chaining moves together like OlliOlli, cause only Jesus can attain that standard (as he can knock down enemies and immediately launch into an execution). It's all just move and shoot, move and shoot.

I guess I mainly mean how the sliding and popping in and out of cover works, and the finer details of how the movement feels.

I'd also like it if pressing fire when your clip is empty triggered a reload.

Just out of interest do NDAs still apply after beta testing has finished and the full game is out?

Assuming you're talking about "Speaking about the game" rather than speaking about the process of beta testing or anything else that went on when you participated in beta test.

If it's stuff that is in the public domain, then it's fine.

Not a lawyer.

Yes because I'm sure they had the budget for ultra-realistic graphics but just decided to go retro for the hell of it.

I played the Beta and enjoyed the action, but just didn't find the jokes particularly funny. I think I bought it for a fiver on Steam so I'll give it a whirl soon.

Not really. They have a small budget, so they can either spend lots on fancy graphics and not much on gameplay, or the reverse. I know which I'd choose.

It's just irritating as so many people say that, like small indie developers decide to make their games look basic out of choice.

I mean sometimes it's part of the aesthetic, but it's mainly a pragmatic choice.

You're probably right in so far as it's one way to do relatively cheap graphics but it surely isn't the only one. I'm just saying it's a style that makes me feel yawnsome before I've even so much as installed the thing.

I love to laugh - just not at material that appears to be written by a ten year old who's just learnt his first few swear words. ;)

How much does gameplay cost?

$253.40 per fun unit.

Don't you know anything?
