Yeah, I knew what you were getting at. (Shotgun slug and/or fist fight slugging.) But the first image was that of a mollusc sword. Which was great.

Holst for Europe is a rubbish clue, worth a try as we had to get something, but still rubbish.

But Holst is famous for his astrological suite, not for being European. If 'animal' had been there we wouldn't guess that because he was technically an animal. He'd be as much an animal as he is European.

Also, I knew he was British, but most of my knowledge about classical composers comes from University Challenge
