The official one I have is nice. You could probably even have it considering my PS4 is a Blu-ray/Netflix player these days.

This is an excellent point. Also, looking at the data transfer rates, it looks like it would be a touch slow.

Yeah, those Seagate "Backup Plus" drives are literally designed only for use as backups as their data transfer rates are shockingly slow considering they're USB 3.0.
