Lets go to Le Mans.

Of course I'm almost certainly meant to be at a conference at some remote european outpost that weekend, but on the basis that the odds of me seeing a fundamental career change before then are staggeringly close to 90%, I'm probably going to be free.

Daft question - what is the timeframe for the event as a whole? I'm pretty sure you don't rock up at 1pm Saturday and stagger, drunk, into your car at 5pm Sunday.

I really don't know. I assume turn up on friday or Saturday and leave Monday because of parties and stuff. And wait; my car? We should have a planning session in a pub with a 'net connection.

That would be Friday but I am on 2pm train.

But, yeah, this is very feasible because it is possible to get down and back on a weekend for not a lot.

My car is probably bigger, which may be a factor depending on how many are going. And I live virtually on the road to dover, which could be a useful stop off
