I'd go with colour. To me, that looks better.

The colour works well because of the Euro flags... but B&W looks better overall.

Hope that helps :D

What's wrong with the Midlands? I thought it was the North East that was most Pro-Brexit.

36% of a constituency's electorate signing a petition is pretty impressive.

It's worth bearing in mind though that constituencies had no bearing on the referendum, which was purely a count of individual voters across the country. Still fascinating though, e.g. when viewed as the percentage of electorate, the constituency with the highest signature-count but which voted leave is ranked 123 (Eltham).

The people I argue with on Facebook about Brexit tend to be Leave voters from the Midlands.

I realised something the other day - three of my previous bosses all voted Leave (and all live in the Midlands too). IT Management must do something to people. :)

I've got to admit that even though I usually don't care about much and see it all as a big joke, and, really couldn't give a crap about anything much any more, this bitch is seriously beginning to worry me. My analogy may be miles off, but she reminds me of a certain idealist from the 1940s sporting a moustache.

How can you be so deluded, and so narcissistic that you could try and force your bad idea on an entire country, and literally stick your fingers in your ears and go "la la la" whilst the entire country is screaming at you?

I mean ffs, even the Brexiteers are pissed off.

Now this part may annoy those who care more than I do, but the shit show has been quite spectacular for a spectator like me. I never thought I'd be glued to the news every day watching it all unfold and indeed unravel.

I’d say even more noticeable than the Midlands trend is the east side of England trend.

Also surprised at Cannock Chase as their MP is Green Party and I thought that most Green voters trended remain.

Not sure where you got that from Mimi, Caroline Lucas is the only Green MP and she represents one of the Brighton seats. According to that website Amanda Milling: CONSERVATIVE MAJORITY: 8,391 represents Cannock Chase. Perhaps they have Green councilors?

Jeez, yes, I don’t know why I said that at all. You’re completely right. I meant a lot of green counsillors in that area, Hednesford, etc. One of them is a friend of mine so I don’t know why I wrote that. My head is all over the place. Nerp.

Let me get this straight, the Tories are being whipped not to vote for the current amendment, on the promise that if they don't vote for it the Tories will raise their own amendment to do the same thing, which they will be allowed to vote for.

Correct. Also, I’ve just realised that about the only thing that hasn’t happened in brexit yet is Theresa May resigning the whip because she disagrees with the policies of the government.

Amendment passed, that has to be the end of May, hasn't it? She can't even whip her own party to allow the government to keep control of the house.
