You can't get to the ferry as there's insufficient customs infrastructure post no deal so the M20 is a lorry park.

What do you want to go over there for anyway? Do you hate your country or something?

Marginally less awful if your definition of the term "awful" has absolutely no relative or actual objective basis whatsoever, and is entirely non-constant also, as driven by political grievances, and as coupled with an inability to read, less still consider other equally important parameters, and slightly more nuanced information such as data trends and trajectories.

Sounds to me like Post Brexit Britain is going to resemble The Day the Earth Stood Still.
Will we still have electricity, or is it back to the Stone Age for Shoreditch Chatterati? Shit, they really *will* be serving food on Gen 1 iPads.

You see this is now the bar for success for Brexiteers?

We won't all die in a post apocalyptic wasteland, we survived the blitz, we're only poking *one* of our own eyes out etc.

Post Brexit Britain was meant to be a paradise where all our bananas are bendy and without EU interference we could flourish.

The Trooper is my fave Maiden track of all time mate, and yes, this isn't the first comparison that's been made :D

The fact that a no deal would be so harmful to the UK (and relatively only a minor annoyance to the rest of the EU) is exactly why Brexit is such a terrible idea, because the EU is in a far far far stronger position for negotiating an exit deal.

I'd question the hell out of that, but you'd probably end up including Queen songs in your reasoning or something and telling me I was being absurd for not considering it ;)

The Trooper is the best Maiden song ever and if you don't think so, well, all I can say is you're *just* the kind of guy who doesn't appreciate blue passports.
Tsk, honestly. Daft Brexit predictions about aviation no longer being possible in the northern hemisphere or whatever are one thing, but this is quite another. Whatever next!

I think I prefer Maiden England too. I got into that era of Maiden first, so I have more of a connection to the material.

That said, they are a brilliant complement to each other. England has the later stuff, but a different selection from the earlier albums too. Of course, you have 'Number of the Beast' and 'Hallowed Be Thy Name' on both, but 'The Prisoner', 'Die With Your Boots On' and 'Still Life' are golden tracks that were bizarrely not on the Live After Death set.

Totally agree with that sentiment mate. With LAD you have 'Mariner, but MIE hits back with Seventh Son of a Seventh Son... love these Maiden epics. The Evil that Men do is my fave Maiden track of all time as well (The Trooper close second).

Wandsworth council allow comingling of recycling and have the lowest council tax in the country. Once again, obvious horseshit about the impact of EU regs on the UK.

Looks like Spain's going to introduce direct rule. No idea how this will work out.

Still, everyone's reading up the relevant Wikipedia pages to sound informed about Iberian regionalism. I just watched a lot of Sharpe.

Ooft. Spain's share index, the IBEX 35, just took a big dump (both FTSE100 and FTSE250 look okay)

This shit's just got real. Methinks the EU are going to have some very unwelcome distractions from this point, and they're under serious scrutiny like never before. It's early days but this could play out quite favourably for the UK in their Brexit negotiations; they've just been given a rather nice extra card to potentially play... bonus.

Doubt it. Spanish direct rule imposed within a couple of days and the Catalan parliament dissolved, is my guess.

Nobody's going to be mad enough to recognise Catalonia as an independent state at this point, least of all the EU.
