Also like your mum, it may mean I acquire a headset so that I can understand what's going on.

I have this £7 one, which seems to be a very good budget choice. You can spend more of course, particularly if you want headphones rather than merely a chat headset.

I have absolutely no money, but am so tempted to get a PS4 just for this, as I miss Bezzie gaming.

Should do, as should the one that came with the PS4, but its not fitting for a man of my means. I'm clearly getting the official wireless one, as I thought id be using my PX3s until I found out they were broke.

Beexers that are maybe planning to get the game to join in: make sure you get it on Wednesday, as there’s a big (4.7gb) update and once that’s downloaded you need to install it, and play through a short prologue.

If you get the game on Thursday and sit down at 6pm to get ready, you probably won’t be ready on time.

You may have a Dave (Mr) if you want one.

What are we going to do? Just dick around? Or Heists or missions or races and whatnot?

Probably not a heist, I think they are late game content and quite hard if you don't know what you're doing / are quite good at the game. And have decent kit, whereas most of us will have pistols.

So far, we've done a fair bit of just cocking around in freeplay (we went to play golf, but Grim... wasn't allowed, so we tried to steal a golf cart but Grim... killed the guy, so then the police came and we had a ten minute escape with me driving and Grim... PEW PEW PEWing out the window), a few races, and some jobs (both as us-vs-randos, and also private matches with just us.) All of these are surprisingly fun.

Ah fair enough. I've done all the heists multiple times, have pretty much most of the gear, an armoured car, and insergent, a jet, I even bought the dump truck the other day, so pointless, but it's fun!

Ah. You're a bit ahead of us then. We don't even know how most of it works.
