I used to make videos like this with my cameraphone, I'd just stick it into it's holder on the windscreen and set it recording. Except the quality was shit. One day I might try and rig up my main camcorder with some sort of non-slip mat on the dashboard and see if that works any better.

Indeed. Apart from the dumpy Asian women going shopping blurting out 'Me so horny!', I had a great moment when I nearly ran down an English bloke crossing the road, who duly raised his arm in protest and shouted 'you nutter!' after me in a posh voice.

My favourite was the Indian taxi driver, who when hijacking his taxi would say "In the back-aaaarrrggh!!"

Those multiplayer modes sound like fun....

By the way, why is this Grand Theft Auto 4? Surely this is Grand Theft Auto 6? GTA4 was Vice City. Obviously it's a rhetorical question, they're doing it so as not to confuse people who haven't followed the series from it's humble beginnings, but it's a pet hate of mine. They're doing the same with Doctor Who as well, I've noticed

It's because Vice City and San Andreas were essentially episodes of GTA3 (you could also include the 'Stories' games in this if you wanted). GTA4 is the first proper sequel to GTA3.

Besides, it should be at least GTA7. You had Grand Theft Auto, then GTA London: 1969, then GTA 2 which was of course GTA 3.

GTA 4 was popularly known as GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas are GTA 5 and 6, so GTA IV is actually GTA VII. Or maybe GTA IX, depending on how you feel about Liberty City / Vice City Stories.

Well I wasn't being quite that anal. I think it should be GTA 6, that's all, and I'm going to have to fight the urge to go *cough*6*cough* whenever anyone refers to this new one as GTA 4.

To be honest I think they've got it right. For example, I don't think Cannon Fodder 2 should've been a sequel, as it was basically a mission pack for the first game.

I don't think you can possibly call San Andreas a mission pack for GTA3 though.

The only problem I foresee for it is that it cannot possibly live up to the hype and expectations placed upon it. I fully expect the back lash to start by next weekend.

I'm quite excited, so much so that I'm going to Blockbusters at midnight on Monday. I suggest inaugural BETEO GTA 4 multiplayer fest in the wee small hours of Tuesday morning.

I am quite looking forward to it, although, like all the other ones, I will play it for a while, and then leave it when I get to a mission I cant complete after the 100th time and it will gather dust.

Yeah, that tends to be what happens with me too. I always feel like I've had my forty quid's worth of fun by then though, and every now and then go back to just dick around.

There's something about GTA4 which hasn't grabbed me. I'm just so overwhelimingly unexcited about it, even though Vice City and San Andreas were the last games I actually spent £40 on. I think it's because GTA 4's so...brown.

I think it looks wonderful. But then I've never really been all that bothered by a game's colour palette. The fact that Gears of War was mostly grey and brown didn't really sway me from thinking it was mostly rather enjoyable.

This is the first game since Oblivion that I've been TOO EXCITED about.

It's using up all my brane, making it impossible for me to concentrate on anything else. I keep going near spoilers, then backing away. I keep nearly ordering it from sites that claim to have launch day stock, just in case I somehow don't manage to pick up my pre-ordered copy at Game. I think about it when I fall asleep and as soon as I wake up in the morning.

It's actually quite debilitating and is distracting me from what are actually more important things. It only happens to me every two or three years, but when it does happen it's a bugger.
