If it gets announced at E3 there's no way in hell it'll actually be released this year. Publishers spend years building hype for AAA games; they don't just go, "Hey, we're officially confirming that Game X is even in development aaaaand now it's in the shops!"

Yeah I know man and it fucking sucks.

I used to watch the Fallout 3 documentary and get a lot of happiness from it. Now? I just have that bit where Todd Howard says "And now the game is ours and we can do what we want with it" stuck in my head.

Sure, Todd. Make one, give us all a hard on then do the exact thing that Interplay did that you claimed to be so pissed off about - stick it up your ass and sit on it for years. Seriously? 2008 was nearly seven years ago./

*sigh*

I'm working through some of my Steam backlog at the moment and hovered briefly over FRACT OSC and Betrayer last night, but plumped instead for NaissanceE. Viscera Cleanup Detail is on my wishlist but I notice it's still in early access and so I'm just going to wait until it's properly out and reviewed I think.

I appear to have bought every bit of Borderlands content that's ever existed for about a fiver. Is what I'm trying to say.

Seriously, have you seen this shit? It's properly awesomely ludicrous:

Yeah, I was pretty drunk and basically just making up the numbers there. I paid $20 which comes out at about £12. I'm not sure why I paid $20 though given that the top tier of the bundle is only $15. I'll also probably never get through all the add-ins and whatnot so should've just stuck with the second tier, which would've made the price about the fiver I actually said there.

It's an intentional throwback to fantasy tropes of old. Which I thought was pretty obvious.

I still wouldn't click on it with a title like that unless I was looking for it. There's too many of these bland generic titles littering the app stores/steam and the like.

Neither would I. Indeed, if you want to find stuff to play simply by browsing the app store listings you're probably a mentallist. It could also be easily argued that if you're literally going to judge stuff by it's title your going to have a bad time as well.

I odn't understand why anyone would hoard cheap mobile games? I finished playing the last Android game I had going (Adventures of Poco Eco as per the Finish 52 thread) so I bought this one to play next. Though Raby appears to be a bit shit so I might ditch it.
