No, cheats! They should be photos you take yourself. So if you took a picture of a signpost for Craster, you'd be all good.

Heh, Craster is near Shilbottle (which is up by Newcastle if I recall). My dad thought it would be a good idea to cross the first 'L' on the sign to make it 'Shitbottle'. But then reasoned that probably happens several times a year.

I don't see why not.

Although, I do have an entire collection of places that share my name (all from Holland) so you might have a point.

I need an ruling on one from yesterday .... My local tesco had chosen to play in their demo DVD player "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey" , which i snapped a pic of , and on the cover is obviously someone in the background who looks a bit like Grim...'s avatar.

Does the Avatar count , or should it only be names ?

I always quite fancied Carol Vorderman. When she didn't look incredibly 80s, anyway.

Yes, and it's still funnier and cleverer than stamping "FAIL" on everything, despite being twice as old.

Oops! Didn't notice this post at the time. I agree.

Middle managers at my place are calling things 'fails' now. It's officially over.

Is "OVER" the new "FAIL"?

Father Ted will never get old. It's simply one of the finest comedies of all time, ever.

'Over' is timeless. 'Fail'* is an outdated attempt at capturing the zeitgeist.

* The noun.

Fail doesn't exist anymore. The lowest you can get is an A-.

In my GCSEs, I got 2xA*,5xA,B and a D.

People always ask what the D was for.

Heh - I got the same as that, but there were two extra As and the D was a C. People don't ask what it was for.

I got 1 A*, 7As, 2Bs, and a C.

The only one of those I can reliably remember is the C.

The moral here is that I dwell on my own failures, everyone else dwells on yours. Ponder that.
