I'll deny all knowledge of you ask me, but I reckon Teresa has dealt with the Trump Tweet Twattastophe quite well.

"They didn't really seem to understand the process at all, didn't understand (a) that he would have to be photographed in the first place (b) that he would need to be presentable or that he couldn't just turn up in his anorak.

PHILIP Davies has prompted laughter in the Commons this afternoon with a joke on Theresa May's Cabinet reshuffle.

MPs are now back in Westminster following the Christmas break and the outspoken Conservative Shipley MP joked he would need to "get in quick" with his question "before the Prime Minister's inevitable call".

His quip was met with amusement from fellow MPs.

On Friday the House of Lords debated Baroness Kennedy's bill to restrict entry to the country to those who are ' known to be, or to have been, involved in conduct constituting the commission of a gross human rights abuse or violation'. This is basically referring to those Russians already facing sanctions here, in the US, and elsewhere - a Magnitsky Act. It's a very good debate and worth reading if you want something positive in politics. It'll be interesting how far it progresses: the minister's response was a bit lukewarm.
