Because of the above reason I am going to now please request that people do not click three random links so as to purposefully 'invalidate the voting method'. If people do not want to choose their three favourite pictures then they are not obliged to vote. As it was so very close this time this may well have actually interfered with the final winner, as the two top ranking pictures were only a point apart, and do do something like this seemed pointless (unless the person doing it was trying to prove a point, in which case please remember that this voting method was reached after a democratic poll on the decision).
Oh yeah, I forgot to say earlier, particularly as the guy who lost by one point ( 8) ): :this:

Do you really think I actually did this? Man, some people have no sense of humour.

I must've accidentally clicked on one though, because I'm sure I wanted to vote for fifteen. Poor fifteen. all those votes, and none for your funky tower.

Yes, of course. Why would anyone have reason to think that you were lying about what you said?

I chose three at random, thus invalidating the voting method. If you win, it could be because I randomly clicked your button! Mwah ha ha hahahahahahah!

Because of the evil genius laugh?

No, it didn't really come across that way, to me at least. I am glad that you say you didn't though, especially as the top two winners were only a point apart.

I might've influenced the vote through cackhandedness. I definitely meant to vote for Funky Tower, but obv. didn't. But not deliberately.

Though, I think a D20 is a better art critic than me, anyway.

Deliberate :munkeh: business probably isn't an excellent thing to do, but I am not going to worry about it, it's not as if there's a prize for winning.

Mine was 7 - the burnt-out childs bike, which gained a shocking 13 points. I took it with my phone, so it was the best I could do.
It was on a pavement, a few meters from my house.

That's 8th, which isn't bad considering the number of great shots in this comp.

I liked the subject matter, but the competition was too hot this week.

Oh aye, I didn't expect it to win. It just fitted the description well.

To join the photoshop debate, I didn't enter this week but I was 2nd last week with the very, very red picture from Shunt. That had been through a sharpness filter in Photoshop but that's it. The phone box thing I'm pretty certain I could do entirely on my camera (you can isolate colours) so it's certainly not too much if it had been done.

If you want a distinction in my mine there's a difference between changing what's there and merely making what's there a little more effective.

Looks like the Mafia games have made the link between voting and deception a bit too strong for Grim...
