The Walking dead from Amazon US for $12.49 (about £7.60) - steam code but you need to have added a US address to your amazon account

http://www.amazon.com/Walking-Dead-Onli ... 007WWW2C8/

I'm also tempted by Scribblenaughts unlimited for $7.49 (about £4.60) but its locked for europe until February (when i bet its £40)

The iTunes 12 Days of Xmas starts giving stuff away today.

I'm predicting some massively popular songs by bands that have sold millions of copies already, some functional apps that are rubbish, a lame racing game, and a Xmas special version of some sitcom.

Day 1 - Free Maroon 5 song!

:(

Thats for real - todays freebie is an EP version of a Maroon 5 song.
The first year I used it there seemed to be reasonable stuff on it but since then its mainly been crap

Add in a crappy film that you'd not watch , and you missed the fact that the Xmas special will be a 2 parter and you'll only get one part :-)

This is on Amazon's store, not Google. Unless it's free on there too?

More Steam stuff. Not sure how cheap this stuff is - I'm just posting these as I've seen them mentioned on here before.

Lego Lord of the Rings - £16.74
Faster Than Light - £3.49
X-Com Enemy Unknown - £20.09
until 6pm tomorrow.

And one of the flash sales is for the Space Marine Collection for £6.24 for the next seven hours or so.

Cheers. Is there somewhere I can find the game on there? Regular Amazon searching doesn't seem to return it.

I'm not honestly that bothered about ChuChu Rocket; it's a principle thing now!

Just to clarify: With the Google Play Store, you can buy stuff in advance via the website with your account, whether you have the device handy or not. With Amazon's store, I believe you have to buy it all from within the app itself.

I'm not expert, but that's how I understand it anyway.

You can't see the Android apps on the UK Amazon site, the only way to browse them is through the app itself so if you don't currently have an Android device you can't do anything; so exactly what devilman said basically.

Hitman Absolution at 14 quid on Amazon for the next hour or two.

Is that cheap, and is it good?

The Steam sale has been alright up to now IMO, the only reason I've not been snapping up a few games is because I've already got a backlog several years long and there seems no point in adding to it.

Mine has arrived

Its Halo 4 in the box
Disk one has a large '4' written on the front in sharpie but apart from that looks good
Disk two is covered in scratches - although mainly small ones , but i've installed it to the hard drive and it installed okay , and since you use disk 1 to play I'll be fine.

I've not bought anything from the steam sale this time around although i have bought stuff from GMG and Amazon US , which are just steam codes (however they are cheaper than you can buy the things on steam even with the 'sale' added in)

'pre-owned' titles from Blockbuster with an extra £5 off (use offer code MVC51502)

Gets you things like Halo 4 for £14.99 / Resi 6 for £10.99 / Ass crud 3 for £18.99 / Borderlands 2 for £14.99

Code is a single use thing - people are saying you can create multiple accounts but probably not worth the hassle

New ones arrived today. Although the Forza is still scratched to buggery, it allowed me to install it. Halo 4 discs were correct this time and are covered in greasy fingerprints.

Definetly - if it matters to you I'd just buy them full price but 'new' from somewhere - for me i'm at the stage where i'm happy to have the game and it work and thats about it - so a scratched up Halo4 for a few quid will do.

Not sure if you're too fussed about it being on Steam or not, but you can get X-Com on Zavvi for £11.66 using the code JANSALE to get the 10% discount off the displayed price.

I'll happily pay more for digital downloads than physical discs, just to avoid having fucking discs to fanny about with.

I was a bit cross that buying a boxed disc was the only way to get hold of the new Sonic Racing game on the 360.

It seems that Xcom is a steamworks game anyway, so I should be able to register it on my steam account I think.

It says 12 months but if you look at the image its also got 1 bonus month free (as well as a BLOPS2 hat for your avatar)

I know Lewie has a post on Savygamer to have 12 months for about £26 but that requires you buying a crappy old game from blockbuster and then buying the years sub online afterwards (quite a bit more faff)
