She's abit off as apparently it was unplanned and the backing track was not in the right key.

I always thought she sang that long note slightly flat in the actual single anyway.

Catherine from Atlus. Possibly NSFW, though definitely a lot creepy.

The rapping is so terrible. It's like something from Borat. But somehow the combination of the terrible rappers and a fantastic backing track just make it watchable.

I bet if you tried to license the Holiday backing track today for a novelty record you'd be told to get lost.

Loses it slightly before the end but otherwise hi-larious. Plus, it's hard to get the tune out of one's head.

Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but http://www.youtube.com/movies has a load of movies on it. There are some real crackers on there:

Quote:
Monsturd: Don't get caught with your pants down! Escaped serial killer Jack Schmidt is on the run from the police and FBI after escaping from jail. They corner him and gun him down in a sewer tunnel, where he falls into a pool of chemicals dumped by the company who created it, Dutech. The combination of feces and this chemical transforms him into a half human, half feces creature, who goes on a killing rampage. And it's up to a group of local law enforcers to stop him.

Damnitt! I had a really good mocking joke about that I intended to post along with the video, but forgot to do so, and have now forgotten the joke too. :(

I think the "Theiss Device" was probably his eight year old son on a step-ladder. "Time to learn the family business junior!"

I like how middle-aged Moore looks like a Bond villain - that one played by Charles Grey. I like to think of the excitement and frustration Moore must have felt watching the space-race. Seeing amazing developments in probe-technology, men on the moon, the Hubble telescope - but at the same time man failing to capitalise on the leap into space and the Moon landings in the end written off as a brief Cold War 'Can-Do' demonstration.

What an arse.

...bottles? pah, the pussy, compared to Metallica at Donnington 85 (the last year of allowing glass bottles I believe).

Image

One of the funniest things I've seen at a gig was Johnny Rod coming to the front of the stage at Donnington 87 to throw some shapes and then running for cover as a barrgage of plastic bottles full of piss rained down on him.

That's fucking HILARIOUS!

Malabar, the girl complaining at the end of the video says an hour and a half, I think.

The staff announcers were great.

I heard on the radio they were about an hour late, then when they finally started they got booed and bottles were thrown at them. So they stopped, and told people to give it a rest or they'd leave. They started playing again for about ten seconds then stopped and stormed off. Someone from the O2 staff came on and told the crowd there had been a 'technical hitch' but he got booed as well so then another staff member came on and said they were trying to get the band back on and pleading with the crowd to stop chucking bottles. Some of the crowd started chanting 'Refund', and finally about 35 minutes later the band played a short set for the smaller number of fans who kept hoping they'd come back and stayed to see.
I think a band turning up late and not apologising would put me off them. Arrogance is quite off putting in some situations. Time and a place.

Bit anoarky this, but meh. There's a company called Jam in Dallas who are the kings of the radio jingle. They still can be heard in this country but not as much as in the past (Jam jingles are abit expensive for our screwed radio industry), but they still dominate in the USA. Radio 1 used them for years and Moyles (being a radio anorak) commissions stuff from them.

Anyway, one upon a time they decided (for fun) to make a song with as many jingles in it as possible. Very American orientated but interesting to hear them shoehorn them all in.

:luv:

Otters are without doubt my favourite animal. I had a teddy otter when I was a little 'un and carried it everywhere. It was a fine, life-size stuffed otter. One day outside the shops my mum got a dressing down from a woman who thought it was disgraceful for a mother to give her son an otter as a pet. She thought the stuffed toy was real!
