I could actually make it to this. Could your garden accommodate a 6-berth tunnel tent?

I'll sort you the bedroom at the front of the house (furthest away from the garden), and get you a cot if you need one. I think our intercom will go with the Grimlet, though.

Baby will sleep in the bed with us, if:

a) There's a bed there, and
b) The wife is ready to spend the night in unfamiliar surroundings.

So, hopefully :DD

I'm in. Mrs K just literally 5 minutes ago said "ask me again in the morning when I'm sober and can remember " (we've just been to a parents induction evening at the local infant school First Born is starting at), but I'm provisionally in.

I'll be bringing the RC car, too.

and since i'm flying easyjet, i wpuld prefert not to take tent, so if there's some spot available..

I fucking love how laid-back you are.

Sleeping is going to become an issue, however.
I'm more than happy to bunk as many people down as I can, but any bedding stuff you can bring with you (airbeds, pillows and a sleeping bag would be most useful) would be a good idea.
I've only got enough beds and bedding for five people (one double sofa-bed (which is promised to Curio and Mrs Curio), a double air bed, and a single bed (which I just promised to romanista)), and whoever gets the double air bed will probably end up in the same room as the person with the single bed. I can chuck a load of people in the Grimlet...'s room, but, like I said, there will be nothing to sleep on. I've got a three-man tent (really a six-man, but you'd be very cosy) that I can throw up in the garden, too. I suppose someone could sleep on the sofa in the living room - we'll just sit on them to play Xbox.
For people that don't like to "slum it", there's a Premier Inn-type place about a three minute walk away that does rooms for £20 a night.

If you could all give me some clues about what you'd like to do regarding sleeping, that'd be good.

A walking-distance Premier Inn sounds just the ticket.

It's actually a Toby Cavery with a hotel bit attached. I'll find out exactly what it is soon.

I'm happy to pitch my small tent in your garden if there's room (or share someone else's), else go for the Premier Inn.

It's proper walking distance too, not Gaywood walking-distance.

Okay, I'll start putting people's sleeping arrangements in the first post. If I put anyone that doesn't mind going to the hotel down as "going to the hotel" then we can change our minds closer to the date depending on what's happening.

The distance to the one near Gaywood is fine. It's the fact that he didn't mention that it's at the bottom of a mountain and he lives at the top that's an issue.

Don't worry about sleeping arrangements for me — I'll just get a hotel or bring a tent if there's enough garden space. Either way, I won't be expecting any room in your house, let alone a bed and duvet.

Let me find out what it is first.
Do you'll think I'll be able to get a discount on a group of rooms?
