Yikes!

That always reminds me of my Grandad's funeral (the coffin is draped in it), and the one properly good thing I've done in my life.

I don't think my surname has a tartan and I can't remember what we discovered our tartan actually was.

That's a nice yellow one, there is one which looks a horrible pale colour though. Or maybe whoever I saw with it had just washed it at too high a temperature!

How on earth do you find what your tartan is? My family belongs to the McEwan clan but when I search for it I get many, many versions of it.

Happy day of wedding :D

@Gill, What you wanting? If it's G's tartan I'm not sure, I'm fairly certain he wasn't wearing his family one, but can't remember what it was called.

@Morte, you've found it/them then, you have many choices & you can wear the Royal Stuart ones & if you lived up here you could wear the tartan that belongs to where you live :D

Ah you may be right actually...I don't think he was wearing his families tartan. I must find out, I really can't remember and it was only 2 years ago!

I searched for purple/heather tartans & that was the closest that fitted my memory. It's the Forever Scotland one if that helps.

EDIT: Redex for me now, here's the direct link http://www.scottish-wedding-dreams.com/ ... reverc.jpg

Colin Baker was doing the narration on some horrible kid's show I was watching with the Grimlet this morning. Timmy Mallett did one of the voices.
I think it was called 'Beeps' or something.

They so should have had a screen showing BeeX during the reception. It might even have given Twitter a reason to exist.
