So I bought a new TV...a 47 inch singing and dancing LG LED one. I bought it from Amazon as it was Warehouse deal and had over a hundred off the list price as it had damage on the front and side.

So it's turned up and it's all installed (apart from the network stuff) and there is bugger all damage on it as far as I can see. So unless it spontaneously combusts it's a yay.

Don't know if this is a yay as such, but I swam in the great barrier reef on sunday. Saw lots of fish and got to hold a sea cucumber.
Today saw magnetic island and some wild parrots.
Tomorrow get to visit airlie beach.

First day of 4 off today, saw A good day to die hard at the cinema, which was good enough but not really die hardy enough! But still, nice date with the wife sans kids, tomorow we watch Skyfall, Dredd and my daughter's gym exhibition, Thursday we watch her swim and then a trip to Dartmoor for a bit of exploring, and then Friday off to the Zoo (the one in We bought a zoo).

I'd say that was a yay!

Good work Ange and Sam!

And careful, Morte: singing, dancing TVs are the hardest to watch.

I got really bad tan lines on my back from wearing the life vest, and nice really dark brown strip just above my arse, like a tramp stamp.

Car passed it's MOT yesterday.

First try and NO ADVISORIES! :metul:

Also the starlings seem to have found the nest box I put up for them after I'd blocked their usual nesting site underneath the edge of our roof.

'Hey Kern, can you give a presentation on the new software and what it can do?'

'Sure, when for?'

'5 minutes. In Room X - they're already there'.

'Oh'.

I quickly cobble together some samples from our own work and from the software company's online gallery, and run down to the room, hastily thinking of key points as I do so.

Later...

My boss comes to my desk and says they were very impressed and 'want to borrow' me again.

1400km north of brisbane, and about 350km south of cairns. It's on the coast, there's a nice island here too.
