No worries mate, hardly your fault. All a bit weird that. Thought it was a glitch until it happened in the other location.

I played a small amount of this last night. Trying to navigate the map, avoid traffic, and ram opponents off the road made my head hurt. I won a race though.

Play it with other people - it's much more fun.

It wasn't unfun, just that it'll take some getting used to; I had to keep pulling up the quick map to plan a route. Once I learn my way around that'll all get more seamless.

On the other hand, yeah, I largely bought this for bezzie mates (as indeed CoD4).

No, just that, unless there is something else I've overlooked. It's not terribly good, either.

Forget about the map, you'll learn it subconsciously after a while. When you're in races, just look out for the flashing road signs at the top of your screen (it should be accompanied by some beeping).

Follow the pack. When at front watch the blinking roadsigns to indicate turns, or half remember/fluke shortcuts.
