Does it involve wee? I'm geared up for that already. I may actually just have initiated myself.

That's actually the second test. The third test is to cover at least 40% of your Xbox controller with boozy vomit. I just hacked up a load of nasty weedy muscus and failed :(

edit: you are the singularly most annoying poster to quote. I don't think I've ever quoted you where you haven't substantially edited whilst I was replying :P

Fuck, you should be me at work, mate. The number of emails I recall in order to add whole new paragraphs in is just silly.

Why can't I wait until I've finished thinking about what i'm going to say, and stick it all down, before pressing send, eh? Fuck knows. Perhaps it's Compulsive Early "Send" Pressing Sydnrome, or something.

You should know that works about 20% of the time. 0% of the time in the case of people with Blackberries.

Yeah, I know. I only do this with other people in my firm, what with it not working with external email addresses.

Client ones I tend to actually think about.

Fun Boy Three last night!

I stayed on just to get those 2 billboards after you left, I got them both within 2 attempts.

No worries mate, hardly your fault. All a bit weird that. Thought it was a glitch until it happened in the other location.

I played a small amount of this last night. Trying to navigate the map, avoid traffic, and ram opponents off the road made my head hurt. I won a race though.

Play it with other people - it's much more fun.

It wasn't unfun, just that it'll take some getting used to; I had to keep pulling up the quick map to plan a route. Once I learn my way around that'll all get more seamless.

On the other hand, yeah, I largely bought this for bezzie mates (as indeed CoD4).

It's like that despicable "tactics" crap the other guys use that means we always lose at CoD4.

Hahaha, I'm just imagining Gaywood stopped in a layby, with a thermos and a roadmap sprawled across his bonnet, looking puzzled as we're all hooting with glee as we smash into each other half a mile up the road.

Quickmap?

Is this just pressing 'Select'? Or is there a much better way of using the map that I have been ignoring?

No, just that, unless there is something else I've overlooked. It's not terribly good, either.

Forget about the map, you'll learn it subconsciously after a while. When you're in races, just look out for the flashing road signs at the top of your screen (it should be accompanied by some beeping).

ZarNav

Follow the pack. When at front watch the blinking roadsigns to indicate turns, or half remember/fluke shortcuts.

Repeat.

EDIT: What Mypinips said.
