You utter fucking wimp. There's no such thing as "shit" at this game in multiplayer.

But... I would be paying money to have more of your face in my living room. This is the wrong way around, normally I would pay money to have less of your face visible.

Yep, we'll be playing this for a long while yet. It's a nice change to CoD4, as you don't have to be ultra-alert all the time, and most of the time I find myself cruising around forgetting that we're meant to be doing challenges...

It's more of a chill-out game than a "OMFG! KILL KILL!" type game. The first time you play it online, you'll spend the first 20 minutes smashing into people and giggling. It always happens.

I will try my very best to be around tonight at 11.

Dickie, just get it, you will definitely not regret it for £22.

...and you will see my face.

Playing the single-player isn't really necessary, it's fairly 'pick up and play' as regards the multiplayer.

However, personally speaking, I was at first enamoured by all the various things to drive past/through, all the different races, how it's a big cohesive world etc. But then I rapidly became bored when I realised that almost every race is the same (the actual tracks are frankly rubbish compared to those of previous Burnout games, I strongly believe), and that multiplayer mostly consists of three or so people sitting aroung chatting and going 'Ooo, nearly' whilst you (me) spends two hours trying to parallel park. I dunno, I really don't see why it's so fiercely loved here, I really don't.

The upcoming DLC however might be enough to reignite my interest, and it's y'know, not... shit.

I don't fiercely love it (like I do CoD4), but it's entertaining to go and just whizz around the roads, smashing into people and having some banter (and laughing at their cam shots), whilst the challenges provide a vague sense of coherence.

I'd say it's more game-based relaxation than active-gaming, or at least I would if those phrases made much sense.

Yep, I'd alluded to that in my posts on the subject. I can switch off and just listen to Dimrill cackling with glee as he knocks Pundie off the car park for the fifth time in a row...

Aye. I love playing this with Bezzies, it's just a fun evening chatting crap and helping people to get their skills up (and being helped!). It's a great game to play when you're not wanting a complete concentration game.

The cameras really add to it as well.

Only on Uno and in certain conditions.

As compared to Dimrills constant orangeness. Even the right shape.

Good Burning Out to introduce Craster to the world of Burning Out and Burning Out his car with Burning Out last night. Now all we need is a doctor to tend our burn wounds...

Depends what you're after. Forza = quite boring car simulator, Burny = FUN FUN FUN arcade smash em up with added camera gurning action.

Both have their merits Mr Chris, like Dimrill says though Forza is spoddy and Burnout is slapstick.

Burnout Paradise is currently £25 at Tescos.
Forza 2 is about £15-20 most places.

I is not a spod, mind.

No, wait, I am.

Probably best to buy both then.

Burnout Paradise is normally £30 second hand, that's why the £25 for a new copy at Tescos is quite groovy.

You'll learn it subconciously over time. It's not as big as it looks, once you know where the landmarks are.
