About a month ago I was going to let my Xbox Live sub lapse when it was time to renew, but this game has really brought back the love for me.

Out at lunchtime to buy another 12 months. Hopefully they have some of the GoW3 branded 12+2 months left that I saw at Morrisons (£35 but with the £5 voucher that wil make it £30).

I messaged him back afterwards apologising for not realising how deep-seated his insecurities were and hoping I hadn't dragged up any long-suppressed childhood traumas by using "his" silverback for a wave.


I know Myp has bought it, Dimrill too I think. I'm going to end up buying all the DLC anyway so will probably get it soon; first lot is announced as new horde stuff, apparently there will be a mix of everything spread across the DLC packs though so extra multiplayer and campaign will turn up too. That's enough info for me in fairness.

Twat wouldn't even pick me up when I was dying at his feet and I never touched his precious Silverback!

Most people I know are using this event as a chance to try all 50 waves of horde on insane... I'm booked in a TA session with friends from there so I'm out of bezzie commission most of the night but possibly could join later. Think Myp was trying to put a group together for the same but not sure how far he got.

There's significantly more tickers than normal, and with a full team and some helpful mutators my team didn't really have much problem getting it done. At least, once we remembered we had instagib melee enabled and could just punch the beserkers for a one hit kill

However, for those counting "events" towards the War Supporter medal and linked achievement, I learned from Cliffy B via Twitter that this does not constitute an "event", which is pretty inexplicable but at least explains why nobody was receiving credit for it. So that's a thing, if you care about it.

Why has (almost) everyone dropped this game?

If anyone fancies any multiplayer Inv me up., I don't mind having a break from Dark Souls from time to time.

I have the new maps, but only Dimrill and me have them out of our current party, so we're playing the normal maps.

Yes, that's what I was doing, it's the reason you didn't send me an invite. Oddly, whatever my settings are, it doesn't show me what you're intending to play... by the time I saw you were playing Gears, you were already playing Gears with a full game
