This would be huge news, as I wasn't aware I was married.

A minor annoyance, but something I notice every time:

In a game on the Xbox One and want to go to the store? Press the Xbox button and choose the Store icon and you are taken to the dashboard, but not the store.

The stupid 'Workday' mobile app always asks for a PIN code to be set up, which I duly do, but then the expiry for the PIN is so short that next time I come to use the app the PIN is no longer valid so I have to set up another one.... which is exactly the same number as the one from the time before, and the time before that.

An Irrational annoyance.

I just found out that the number 11 bus in London (a place I have not lived for almost 25 years) last year changed it's Eastern Terminus from Liverpool Street to Waterloo.

This used to be my local bus, that I could catch to school if I was running late, and it was a really good way of seeing a lot London Sights for quite a cheap price.

It still goes to quite a few, but you don't get to see all the City of London Stuff any more (including St Paul's).

I don't why, but when something from your childhood changes like this, it really seems to hurt more than it should

(an Aside:

A few years back I was in London looking at Universities with my oldest Son, In between that, and watching T20 Blast Cricket, we did an ultra cheap sightseeing tour, with me as guide, where we took a Thames Clipper to the Millenium Dome, then the Cable Car over the Thames, Docklands to Bank, walked to Liverpool Street, and then the Number 11 Bus to half way down the Kings Road, where we met my Brother.

I think we had to pay a surcharge for the Cable Car, but the rest of it was essentially free)

Influencers. And Reality TV 'stars.'

But today I'm feeling smug because Reality TV stars have been charged over investment plugs in which 'social media influencers with a combined Instagram following of 4.5 million people have been charged in relation to promotions of unauthorised investments.'

"The FCA has alleged that Emmanuel Nwanze, aged 30, and Holly Thompson, 33, ran an Instagram account under the handle @holly_fxtrends to give advice on buying and selling contracts for difference, without authorisation.

The FCA said that contracts for difference (CFDs) were high-risk investments used to bet on the price of an asset, in this case foreign currencies.
It said 80% of customers lost money when investing in CFDs because of the risks.

Mr Nwanze allegedly ran the foreign exchange trading scheme and issued unauthorised financial promotions.

The watchdog claims that he paid social media influencers to promote @holly_fxtrends to their Instagram followers.

Love Island’s Jamie Clayton, Rebecca Gormley and Eva Zapico, Towie’s Yazmin Oukhellou, and Geordie Shore’s Scott Timlin were also among those charged
."

I don't really want to see these people end up in clink, but on the other hand it serves them right for thinking they could get away with this crap.

Also hearing references to "the king" and having to pause and remember, "oh, yes, we have that now".

I'm still waiting for Charlie to do something properly majestic.

Different thing - he's legitimately king but they made up "queen consort" for her because she's not allowed to be queen - but remembering to say "consort" is too difficult or perfectionist for apparently everyone.

I'm very much in favour of binning the monarchy and have been for ages but if we're going to remain a country as a whole obsessed with them get it fucking straight.

Camilla is the Queen. She's the Queen Consort, like every other King's wife for quite a while now. Diana would have been Queen Consort as well.

In my worsening memory I have a distinct recollection that When Charlie boy married Camilla THEY said that she wouldn't be called Queen, she would have some other title.

Then a few years ago, I seem to recall that they announced they would be letting that slide.

No mate, even the king can't be a bigamist, but one of them could have been a concubine, like Lady Jessica in Dune.
